They did the job at what they promised but at the end they were in such a rush there was some seams that were not lined up right and some spots that were not finished good.

The job took over 3 weeks to complete.Rain had some to do with it, however the biggest problem was their lack of planning.We spoke about the fact that the concrete was around a pool and the fact that it would need to be "slip resistant" so he suggested that we put a "broom" finish on it. Then he put a sealant on the concrete-which made it very slick.His solution was to "wait for a couple of seasons and then the sealant would be gone".Not a very good soluction for my friends and family.I asked for him to come back and put the correct sealant with the additive in it to make it "slick resistant" he refused (unless I paid for it).BEWARE!

"Our original Contract with this client did not have anything in it concerning any special treatments for her pool or storage shed. This matter was discussed after much of the original contracted work was completed. Customer agreed to the extra charge for extra work but so far has refused to pay for the extra services we performed."

Very quik response to any concerns we had,, we very satisfied with the work they did , the Crew could have been a little more carefull with the rest of the yard, I did not like that they put the tools just anywhere like in the Plants and Flowerbeds and I told them so, the response was ' well I am not a Gardner ' in my opinion you don' have to be but still be careful on Customers property.

Rude, didn't clean up after project, argued about filling in dirt around patio,never returned phone call after the project when had concerns about uneven surface of patio. The workers complained about their boss the entire time they were working and said he should not have taken residential business.

Although they did a nice job, I was disappointed that they backed the concrete truck over my lawn to get to the patio area. They had brought a hopper which I thought they were going to use and then for some reason decided not to use it. Now I need to deal with the ruts left by the cement truck.

I was told the job was going to take two days and its been four weeks already and the job still is not done. They got concrete all over my new landscaping, which now I have to hire somebody to come and remove and rebuild my retaining walls and fish ponds. The steps they put in are a joke and the mess was unbelievable. I had to take the preforms out myself. I don't like to be told that we will be back in the morning and not see or hear from anybody for a week. Very unhappy with the job they did and all the B/S from the owner. My rating from 1 tp 10 is a 1 and I will not every call or recommend them to antbody ever.

I was charged extra for material and machine time included in original bid. American failed to perform work as agreed. Job paid for, but not completed. I can furnish a long list of unkept promises. Cracks caused by construction errors. Trying to get overcharge refunded and cracks repaired. Also trying to get American to put verbal warranties in writing. May have job professionally inspected

"We are concerned about comments made by customers and we do try to respond, unfortunately we failed this customer. One comment that I do take exception to is the crack caused by construction errors. ALL concrete cracks sometimes it dosent crack where we want it to and is usually not a construction errors."

While they did battle some weather elements to complete my patio - they also could have completed a couple of days sooner. They dumped a dumptruck full of rock on our street and planned to leave there over the weekend - once I called they returned on Saturday morning to clean up - poured on my grass in the process.

I loved that the owner came out to my house numerous times to ensure I was getting the patio I wanted. They were also great with design ideas and very informative about what would work best for the space.
