I do not recommend this company. I contacted Arctic Air Conditioning and Plumbing for a simple leak in my toilet and kitchen sink. They charged a $140 diagnostic fee, which I agreed to — assuming it would be applied toward the repair as many other companies do. However, when the technician arrived, he inspected both issues (which were minor and didn’t require any major parts) and then quoted over $1,000 to fix them. This was shocking and completely unreasonable. No repairs were done, but I was still charged the full $140 just for the visit. Their pricing was way out of line compared to other plumbers in the area. The lack of transparency and the inflated quote felt like a bait-and-switch. Be careful before booking — I suggest finding a more honest and reasonably priced plumber.

Michael from Arctic came on the same day Arctic contacted me, and he did a good job fixing the shower water temperature. Price is kinda high for a 30-minute job.

After two weeks of trying to diagnose the problem with my heating system, it was determined that I needed to replace the system. Although this was not the answer that I was looking for, it was the right answer and decision. From the technicians who determined a replacement was needed, to Phil Grego who coordinated the replacement installation, to Miguel and his coworker who worked quickly to replace the system, it was a flawless coordinated effort to restore a working heating system in my house. All representatives from Arctic Air were respectful and informative. An extra shout out to Phil who was able to get me on the installation schedule quickly.

I had the pleasure of working with Scott Carolus from Arctic Air, and I can't recommend him enough. He was incredibly helpful and explained everything to a T, ensuring I understood the issue clearly. Scott saved us from what could've been a major disaster the previous plumber had intended to cut our gas pipe, which was clearly the wrong pipe. Scott came in, conducted a thorough inspection, found the actual leak, and fixed it quickly. Thanks to his prompt action, we were able to get our heat back on after being without it for four days this happened over Thanksgiving when everywhere was closed. Scott's professionalism was top notch; he was compassionate, worked cleanly, and got everything done precisely. It's rare to find someone so dedicated to doing the job right. I would absolutely recommend Arctic Air to anyone in need of plumbing or heating services. They got the job done correctly and swiftly I'll definitely be calling them again if anything comes up.

I am deeply disappointed with an HVAC installation carried out by Arctic Air Co. referred to me through The Home Depot. Based on the trust I have in The Home Depot’s partnerships, I proceeded with Arctic and arranged an initial visit with David Costello. He recommended specific HVAC units suited to my home, and I signed a contract for a full HVAC system installation, paying about $11,000. After the installation was completed, I discovered a significant issue with the filter rack design. The current setup prevents me from removing the air filter to inspect or replace it, even when the HVAC room door is fully open. This issue stems from the fact that the HVAC system was installed without properly accounting for the clearance required by the filter rack. I have reached out multiple times, including sending messages and photos detailing the problem, but my concerns have been ignored. This lack of responsiveness raises serious doubts about the reliability of their warranty support.

I was very pleased. Jake came first to access the problem. I needed a new air conditioner. Then Russ came & advised me of my options. I thought they were very fair & took the time to explain & answer any questions I had. Eugene came & installed the air conditioner & again taking time to answer any questions I had. They were all very professional & I would highly recommend Arctic Air. I also want to thank them for giving me a fair price and a good product.

Simply amazing- can't say enough.My AC unit went out Wed. August 23 and I was without AC until Saturday the 26th. The person originally hired to do the job did not show- he is only one person and his helper fell ill.Got on Angi Friday night and was contacted by Arctic Air Saturday morning.AC was fixed partially fixed (heat defrost board got shorted out) At least we had AC until I could afford to have the new board put in yesterday. The follow through from beginning to end was amazing, and the professionalism of both techs who showed up was second to none.Addressed all of my concerns and questions.Thanks again.

Screwed by Artic air again shame on me I trusted this company only to be told I need to do my research on products they recommend by some incomepetent customer sevice representative that they must outsource to because you couldn't be that dumb and continue your employment. I was told that my "Rheem hot water heater was a piece of s??t but we continue to sell them". I had mine installed just a month ago. Now no hot water maybe till wednesday. They first have to start a warranty process and it takes according to this incompetent individualividual at least 3 business days from monday when they reopen. unfortunately for him I have a computer and saw you can order online and pay to get the parts in 24 hours meaning hopefully sooner than the less than inteligent customer service rep suggested. DO NOT USE ARTIC AIR FOR ANYTHING THEY SELL POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS AND THEN TELL YOU ITS YOUR FAULT YOU BOUGHT IT so you have to go through the warranty process because they dont want to lay out any money from their pocket to make their Customers whole. Ross shame on you! I think you father would be extremely upset thank god he's still alive or he would be turning over in his grave. I will sign this because there is nothing here that is not true.

Our furnace failed on a rather cold day. We called Arctic Air Conditioning and they sent a technician the same morning. The system was ~30 year old, and we know we needed to replace. Once we confirmed that the furnace is not salvageable, they sent an advisor, Chris, to do the measurement and gave an estimate. Chris was able to arrange the installation in 2 days. The team came and completed the work as expected. The work was done in about 5 hours: removal of the old gas furnace & AC unit, installation of new units and new thermostat. They made sure we inspect their work, and showed us how the furnace works. The AC will need to be fully charged when the weather is warmer. A couple things to know is that the utility rebate is small and not worth taking into purchase decision. The Lennox thermostat works well, but the phone app does not work (rated extremely poorly on app store), so don't bother. We picked the better upgrade, which is reflected in the project cost.

Combo boiler was installed in November 2021. Township of Old Bridge issued a red sticker requesting an undated schematic indicating the change in location from the original to where the boiler was eventually installed. Over the winter i made several calls to Artic inquiring if the complied with the township’s request. I was always informed that they would look into it but no one ever got back to me. Finally, in May of 2022 I got a call from Mark Kresge asking if Artic could come over to install a gauge. When the plumber arrived he said they needed to install the gauge because the Town inspector said I had a slow leak and he would also run a pressure test. I told him that no inspector had been to my house since November and it made no sense that the Township would allow me to have heat all winter with a gas leak in one on the pipes and I suggested that he had the wrong house. When he insisted he didn’t but couldn’t answer any of my questions I called Mr. Kresge and asked”what the h*** is going on?” to which he responded to “use that language on someone else”, put me on hold and never got back on the line. The man doing the work left and I have no idea what he did. An inspector came and now rejected the work because the two outlets outside the house were incorrect. A few weeks later Artic returned and replaced one of the pipes with an ugly 2’ black pipe and told me it was now my job to call for an inspection. To this day I have no idea what went on because communication with Artic is the worst I’ve ever experience. The bill was over $12,000.00 and I chose them because they are local and had good reviews. It pains me to deal with a company that seems to have so little regard for its clientele. We have the most thorough communication setup in our history and we can’t get some people to communicate effectively.
