Area building was hired to remove and replace my asphalt roof on our 100 year-old home. They finished today and I'm very pleased with the job. The crew of guys were very polite and personable. I happened to be home on vacation when they started the job and got to follow their progress more closely than I expected. I actaully got kind of use to them being around.... It's a messy job no doubt and I was worried about the clean up -- but they did a pretty good job of cleaning everything up before they left. While the bid for my roof wasn't the lowest price, it was about what I expected. It certainally wasn't the highest (which was nearly 3 times the amount, for most the same job). I would definately recommend them.

Vinyl Siding Install or Completely Replace
Crew stayed with the project until it was done--included new roof, new siding and new windows. Very courteous and worked very hard.

Overall good job. Crew was quick and professional. The job quality was fair\good but would have received a good or very good rating by improving upon finer details.

Manager gave the hard sell in negotiations and estimate, a little on the pushy side, but the price was right in the end and the work men were unfailingly polite and conscientious. It was a pleasure having these gentlemen (and I do mean gentlemen) working around my house this past week. They did take a bit longer than they anticipated, but weather conditions did not help matters. All in all, the roof looks good and the process of getting it up there was as easy as anyone could expect.

Job was handled professionally. A little bit of trouble with leaving roof debris on the grounds. (nails, tar paper) Responsive to the request for cleanup. One gutter splice not right. Will update after talking to contractor. Overall, we are pleased with the job and would recommend this contractor. We plan to use them in the future.

Communication with the workers, supervisor and salesman was very good. They were sure to take care of any concerns I had during the job. They returned to fix a few shingles that blew off in a heavy wind storm that happened only hours after the completion of the job. The shingles blew off because the temperature was below zero and the roof did not have time to seal before the wind hit it. No further damage.
