Came exactly on time, saw the job- sent me an estimate on my email. Ideas that he had were great. Did carpentry work well - when he painted, he did 2 coats, very honest- Caring.

Very responsive, reasonable and reliable. We had been trying to find a carpenter to do built in cabinets for months, but they all kept pushing us off until a later date. Asher gave us a time frame that we were happy with and stuck to it. Every time he said he was going to call, send an email, or come to the house, he was completely reliable. Asher offered good, creative advice about what we should do, and as a result, the built-ins look great and are exactly what we were hoping for.

Quality, integrity and transparency were apparent throughout the entire process. Flexibility and fairness along with a high degree of professionalism-I HIGHLY recommend Asher Nichols & Co. Asher suggested various alternatives based on his vast experiences that were a true value add in addition to his carpentry skills. His associates were equally skilled and all were very professional and customer oriented. It was a pleasure working with them. Other trades people coming onto the project spoke highly of the work that Asher and his associates did.

Asher took over a month to replace an entry door to my house. I recommended replacing just the door--He insisted on replacing both the door & frame. I purchased the door/frame, paint, & hardware necessary. Nevertheless, it took a ridiculous amount of time & was done sloppily. He broke the existing trim & GLUED it together. He neglected to paint the interior side of the door & left if w/only factory primer. He left the floor bare & a threshold had to be added later by another contractor for safety reasons. Then DOUBLED his price from estimate to invoice w/no explanation! Nice guy/AWFUL PERFORMANCE!
