"I helped him out late on Friday night to look at his dishwasher. Went to his location, looked at the dishwasher and gave him a fair and honest quote for the repair but also told him that it would probably make more sense to get a new dishwasher. He agreed, I then tried to collect the $59 service fee and he was not aware of this fee. Since we did not officially discuss the fee in advance I did not charge him. I'm not sure what else I could have done for him, he received a late night service call and fair estimate all for no charge."
