Cameo Pools

This is not discredit anyone's work ethics or their ability's to perform this work it is only to list the facts generated from this project. 1. Feb. 02 I signed a contract with you folks for the above mentioned work. 2. Feb. 03 Wrote you check for $xxxx.xx 3. Feb. 04 Paid an additional $xxxx.xx from my credit card 4. Feb. 06 Wrote an additional check $xxxx.xx and additional $xxxx.xx from my credit card. 5 Feb. 06 Asked if this work would be completed by April 8. I was told it would and it was written on the contact documents that customer wishes were to have this completed by the April 8th date. 6. Feb. 26 You dropped off a pump and some hosing. Connected the hose and pump, was told I had no where to drain the water and you left. My wife and I drained 3/4's of the pool into the yard. You returned a week later and then you attached hose to the drain on the house and then left why I watched the hose draining the remainder of the water from the pool. 7. Mar. 03 You spent 2.5 hours removing plaster from the pool 8. Mar. 07 You spent 1.5 hours removing deck areas for new tile. Also removed slab and stone work in front of house for new tile. 9. Mar. 09 You spent 1.0 hour pressure testing and replacing light in pool. 10.Mar.16 Project manager showed up, went over final details, the original drawing was incorrect and had to be revised. Drawing was revised and resubmitted to me and it is still incorrect. 11. I was then told that construction start date would be March 20,23,24. 12. New construction dates: March 25,26,27 13. New construction dates: March 26,27,28 14. New construction dates: March 27,30,31 15. New construction dates: April 1,2,3 16. New construction dates: April 2,3,4 17. With each of these changes no one called to inform us that they would be a no show. It took as many as 7 phone calls to reach the construction office to find the status of the project after each no show. At first I left a message because your answering service said they would return my call. That never happened. 18. Apr. 06 I called the construction office and I was told that you assigned a new construction group to my project and they would start work on Apr. 9,10,11. Now the target date to start is one day after the date of completion. 19. It is now the 9th of April and as usual (not being sarcastic, just stating facts) you are a no show AGAIN. I have 9 phone calls into your construction office today and there is no answer. I left a two messages for a call back, but your track record continues no return call. I called the salesman twice leaving a message and no call back. What bothers me; you eagerly accepted $xx,xxx.xx and gave me all the answers I wanted to hear when we started this process. I expressed my concerns over the damaging comments in YELP regarding your business and I was assured that those problems were all resolved. I don't know what kind of action I need to take to get this project off the ground or have my money returned. I'm

Worked fast and in a timely manner

Make sure they show you samples that are exactly as the product they will be using.

they showed me tiles to be used which closely resembled the existing tiles But when the job was done, the tiles that were used were multi shades of blue where as the existing tiles are all one color blue. When I questioned them to remove the existing tiles and replace with the new multi shade blue tiles, they quoted an outrageous price AND if they had shown me the correct sample depicting multi shade blue at the beginning then I would have had them replace all tiles with the new ones and I am sure it would have been less cost than what they quoted me after the main job was done and the pool was filled. Not good business practice in my mind.

After contacting other pool companies, Cameo Pools was the best price. They came in and got the job done, I had to have my pool re-plastered, Kool Decking glazed and a few loose tiles replaced. The work was done in a timely manner and looks great. I am pleased with their work.

Fast and efficient. Kept in touch and no surprises so far.

We had some initial quality issues. Greg from Cameo was responsive and the issues are being resolved to our satisfaction.

We had some issues, but overall the process was quick and the concerns we have with some quality issues are being addressed and we're sure they will be fixed to our satisfaction.

Two words, scheduling nightmare! otherwise the work was acceptable, however there was a huge disconnect between sub contractors and a very apparent "Not my responsiblilty" attitude towards any questions asked. However the more research I have done tells me that ALL pool contractors are seemigly this way. Leaving me to wonder what happened to taking pride in the work you do ??

Dealing with this company has been one of the most frustrating experiences ever. A remodel was promised in 10 - 14 days. Contract was signed 05/23/13 and just completed 07/01/13. Actual lies were told by the initial salesman & Larry, one of the owners, states that salesman is now on probation. No one, not even Larry, knows exactly what work was done on what dates but wanted me to take "his word" that all work would be guaranteed for at least 7 years & that a written guarantee wasn't needed...all I need to do is call him. Fat chance!! Avoid this company at all costs. A lawyer is now involved.

Took longer than promised. Need to deal with multiple people at various times. Trashed my yard and my pool equipment. Took a long time to rectify small issues. Ground is soft near newly installed work, notified company of leak but no response.

Not happy at al the work and service. Pool has very bad staining after replaster job. I have been trying for weeks to get them out here to look at how to correct. I have talked with owner and they keep saying they have to wait for their sub contractor to come to house but they got bigger projects to work on. Once they have your money your are low low priority I am supposed to have 7 year warranty and whatever solution they would recommend would weaken the plaster and cut is life in half. Now that I have wait for so long it is too hot for them to drain and fix the staining. They sent letter of intent. Right now I think I wasted $4500 .

Communication with Cameo Pools was very poor. They seldom let me know when any workers were going to show up or what time. Of the only two times that I was notified, one didn't show up until the next day. My job seemed to be placed on the back burner as it took far too long for them to complete my Pool Remodel and they left my pool exposed for much more than it should have been. The pool 'chip-out' left many areas with little to no old plaster removed. Replaster, especially around the steps and plumbing, was left rough, uneven, and less than professional. Pool fence was not as contracted and less attractive than I expected. Very poor work.

I was not to happy with their customer service and they took longer than what was promised to me, price was not too bad, but i guess you get what you pay for.

"The project was top notch. Not only did they consistently show up on time, but they finished the project early and were willing to reschedule the final walkthrough multiple times to accommodate our schedule. Final project turned out great!"

The only hiccup was the installation of the rock water feature, delay after delay. I am however very satisfied with the outcome.

Cameo conducts their business in a very professional way. They have been very communicative and did what they said they would do on time or ahead of schedule. All contact with them has been positive. I am getting a quality pool at a very competitive price, and great customer care.

Very professional and good service would highly recommend.
