Capstone Bros. Contracting, Inc.

The Good: Capstone was very good at staying in touch, they arrived on time and if they were going to be late they demonstrated the courtesy of calling me in advance so I would not have to stay at home all day. Overall the builders seemed experienced and competent. I had a front door scheduled for install and they suggested that they divided my project into two parts so that after my door was installed they would come back and finish the trim job which would ensure that the door was well sealed. The not so good: I thought they were a little overpriced considering the simplicity of the job but I was more concerned about quality than price and I was also pressed for time so I relented but nevertheless I did over pay. They need to work on post job cleanup as well as demonstrating a little more regard for the homeowners landscaping. I had some seeded grass and shrubs which were trampled over which necessitated more work on my part to fix. Finally they also left construction debris behind. Overall Assessment: I was contacted by the owner regarding my comments concerning price and cleanup. He explained how the price structure worked but it did not change my opinion. He did apologize for the lack of cleanup and stated that this is not something that is acceptable. Finally, to his credit, he offered to come back and to fix these problems but I had already done so. I was impressed that the owner would follow up on my complaint as far too many businesses do not care about customer satisfaction after the check has been cashed. He seemed quite sincere. I am undecided if I would use them again in part due to their cost but I am certain the cleanup and their disregard for landscaping would not reoccur.

The sales person, Matt was prompt and very thorough in measuring and asking questions to come up with an estimate. Although they weren't the cheapest, Capstone offered a variety of material options that appealed to us. The project was completed quickly, however, they did leave some contruction debris and did not clean up well. Debris was picked up after a phone call to Matt and he did pick up some of the nails and old caulk that was left behind. We were under the impression that the Miratec would arrive with a factory paint, but Capstone ended up painting the trim. I don't know if we would hire them again.

Professional and quality job.

The service level was excellent. Capstone Brothers dealt directly with my insurance company and got the claim amount increased to match their quote, then roofed my house in 1 day. And the results look beautiful!

Quality is top notch.
