I had a seriously dangerous gas furnace situation. The weather was very cold. A different company told me on a Friday that they could come on Tuesday. Cosmos came the very next morning and none to soon. I was literally on the verge of having an explosion. They diagnosed and repaired the problem for a VERY reasonable rate. They also took the time to explain what they did, AND set me up for more preventive maintenance to prevent anything like this from happening again. I was very happy with my service and when I am ready to replace my furnace, they are who I will call. Thank you Cosmos. :)

Not only did I get a much lower and more reasonable quote from George at Cosmos - he was extremely professional and provided good customer service. When he and his crew came to my house to perform the a/c installation, they were very neat, worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up after the job was complete. I was told to meet them at my house at 11:30 am. I arrived at 11:20 and was happy to see them sitting on my steps waiting for ME. The two young men were polite, went straight to work, found the problem, showed me the bad part and gave me an explanation of what happened. They gave me a fair estimate of the cost of the repair and had things back up and running within 20 minutes. I'm now switching my business to Cosmos Heating & Cooling with great confidence that I'm getting the best company for my money.

They did in fact fix the airconditioner, however, I feel as though the cost was extremely high. They came on a Sunday and charged a 142 dollar service charge. They then accessed and fixed the air conditioner in under 15 minutes. I am sure one man could have done it but they brought two. And charged over 170 dollars for labor. And on top of that the price for the parts was higher than you can buy at a store. So for 15 minutes work, I was out over 550 dollars. Never again will I use this company. Perhaps I am naive and that is just the cost. But $170.00 for less than 15 minutes work? Never again.

"Before we complete a job, or continue our job we give the customer an estimate of how much the repair is going to cost. The estimate includes parts, labor and taxes. If they don't agree with the price, they are more than welcome to shop around. We also asked the customer if they want to wait till the next day for our regular hour rates. But they decided to pay more on an overtime basis."

They were my third proposal because the first 2 each said the other didn't know what they were talking about; came in with the lowest price, could do the job sooner than the others (facing a 90+ degree weekend!). Gus was very professional, did the job quickly, cleaned up after himself, and even offered to mop the floor of the utility room. Cosmos is the best!

I highly recommend Cosmos Heating & Cooling for heating repairs. My humidifier system was not working and their technician "George" was able to zero in on the cause of the problem very quickly and got it working again. He was also able to answer all the miscellaneous questions I had about my heating system and put my concerns at ease. I will definitely use them again for all my heating and cooling needs in the future.
