My experience with Custom Decorators and Lew was excellent. We were informed carefully about our options; told about the costs; given an idea of the length of the project and the project was explained thoroughly. Lew was very meticulous about everything. He continued to work with the same care throughout the project. The only snag was that he took a little longer than we expected, however, the wait was worth it. The cabinets look beautiful. Members of his crew were equally careful and polite. He was thorough, knowledgeable and very honest. We are very happy with the way he executed the project.

I had cabinet doors and drawer fronts refinished to match the rest of the kitchen cabinets, since the color had faded . The matched stain was very close to the original finish and I am pleased with the results. The day of delivery was pushed back but since I was having more work done in the kitchen, it didn't affect me.Good job.

They were very professional and thorough. I liked their presentation but the price was out of my budget. I feel that the job would have matched the price, but i am unable to afford it.

The overall appearance is beautiful. Up close, though, there are spots that I feel didn't get sanded down enough, or maybe didn't get sanded down at all, I'm not sure. Little dissappointed in that since the cost wasn't inexpensive, in my opinion. I've gotten compliments on the job, but the couple of spots that I feel should have gotten more attention......my friends/family agree. I have not called Lou on this issue, though, to be fair. But, as a professional these should have been caught by them before calling the job complete. Lou is a great guy and the job was done quickly. Everyone was punctual as promised.

Lou is a true craftsman. He takes great pride in his work which is so hard to find today. He not only refinished my kitchen cabinets but saw a chip in my tile floor and repaired it voluntarily. The kitchen is beautiful. it is the little touches that sets Lou apart. I wished he did more kinds of work so I can be sure of an excellent job at a fair price!!

My cabinets look like new! My only small complaint is that they missed a couple of small things and had to come back (at no cost to me). In general, they are dedicated to doing a high quality job for their customers.
