Engineer Structural
Expected a structural analysis, all I got was a confirmation of the Township inspectors conclusion. I subsquently hired Wiss Janney Elstner which Delta recommended. I rate WJE 5 stars, prompt, developed solution, provided drawings, recommended several truss repair companies. Total misunderstanding of what Delta was providing. If I'd known it was only an inspection I would have passed. Delta should have informed me of the scope of their services, I am a no knowledge home owner and this cost me $450 to confirm the Township
Response from Delta Inspection Services NJ, Inc.
"The agreed upon scope of work for this project was to determine whether there was a structural problem or whether the existing structure was in satisfactory condition. Delta performed the inspection for $450 and determined that the structure was defective. The design of the repair was a much larger project ($1500) and based on Delta's backlog of work, Delta referred the design to an appropriate company. There was confusion on the owner's part because she was not in attendance during our inspection."
