Distinctive Concrete has been in business for over 4 years. President and owner, Bill Guthro, has been in the concrete construction business for nearly 20 years. Having worked with concrete on construction jobs ranging from small businesses to Boston's "Big Dig" - Bill was introduced to the concept of decorative concrete one day while surfing on the internet. With this discovery, Bill also found his calling. After many trips around the country for training on use of the tools and materials to build decorative concrete, Bill quickly found that this education, along with his depth of knowledge on concrete - was a perfect combination. Bill didn't waste any time getting down to business. His business has been extremely successful, and more importantly - Bill has been very proud of what he has accomplished and expects that he will see many more uses of concrete and their applications throughout the New England area. In addition to the many residential customers, some of Bill's other customers include the Marriott Hotels, Holiday Inn hotels, Boston Design Center, Boston Police Department, Beverly Landmark School and several restaurants and retail merchants.
