Emerald Aire provided an estimate quickly and I thought the price was reasonable. They were also very cooperative about doing the work when I needed it done. I was pleased with the job they did.

Quick & Professional. Siding nail from an earlier project had punctured heat pump refrigerant lines. Emerald air fixed the problem, recharged the system and had us back in service in no time.

There were some glitches with the state electrical inspector, however, everyone at Emerald Air was responsive. The installer left his phone number for me in case I had questions which I did. He responded promptly each time I called.

They were responsive, although sometimes a little slow. Installer, Rudy, was very good and we improved the scope of project based on his advise.

Although I had little use for my gas fireplace, I wanted to get it in working order for winter. I had Emerald Aire to my house twice to have it repaired and it still does not work to my satisfaction.

The Technician was very friendly and resolved the problem quickly.

Positives: Good reputation. Better Business Bureau rating A+. Negatives: Appointment time wrong-glad I re-verified time by calling a day ahead. Tech blew a fuse; none available in truck; found one at auto store. Fortunately, time was not an issue for me. Suggestion to company - Have tech explain what he checked, cleaned, problems found or things to keep an eye on. That way, I could feel like I got my moneys worth. I had to prod the tech for answers but it could just be the tech's quiet personality. Also, take off shoes. Conclusion: Bottom line was everything looked good. I'm more than willing to give them another try.

Took over a month to get the HP/AC working properly with 4 or more visits by Emerald Aire and the regional York representative.

Not satisfied at all. No heat. Furnace worked great before they came, now it doesn't work. Man is on the way to fix it. Need to be more careful and ensure furnace is working before they leave.

Technician (Matt Powers) was friendly and knowledgeable. Emerald Aire gave me a discount on my repair because they were the company that did the maintenance.

Matt showed up in a timely manner. He did all that he said he would do, and answered all my questions about the work he did and the pricing contracts he had to offer. He also gave me info re a fireplace insert and air conditioner I am considering having serviced, and what he could do for those. The price seems to be competitive and offer perks for signing up for return business.

The Tech called me right away. It was the Friday before July 4th and a lot of places were not open or were not responding in a timely fashion. More normal HVAC company did not respond for over 24 hours and it was after the repair was completed by Emerald Aire. Needless to say my old company has been fired. The Tech was good and finished quickly. The Tech said it would take 2 hours to get to me and work on the unit but he showed up an hour sooner.

Made sure we understood each other! Discussed options and provided bid for each option. Project is scheduled to start 7/July/09 if I get the trenching for underground wiring done in time. Emerald Aire does not do trenching, I decided to do it myself considerable savings. One other company offered to do trenching in addition to wiring, it would have been over $3,000.00 over cost of wiring. I will advise when project completed. Thank you!!!
