Paul and his team are absolutely amazing. They were flexible in terms of coming to inspect the 5 chimneys, clean, efficient, and we are now able to have gorgeous fires. They extended the 5 chimneys to bring them in line with code, installed an extractor fan on one, and cleaned all of the chimneys. I would absolutely recommend Empire Fireplace and Chimney, they are fantastic!

Paul and his crew did an outstanding job on our entire project, which included tuck-pointing the bricks and stonework on the entire first floor of our tudor house, tuck-pointing the three story brick chimney, waterproofing the foundation wall, adding a small gutter and drain and replacing a stone retaining wall in the backyard. His crew included skilled masons and grinders and they consulted with me regularly to ensure that all work was done to my satisfaction. Each day they started work on time and they cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. I was totally satisfied with all aspects of their work and would highly recommend them.

We used Empire Fireplace and Chimney to re-build the chimney and re-point the exterior wall of our 5-story townhouse on the Upper West Side. These guys are amazing. They finished my project in record time. The house looks great. He helped me stay in my budget and kept me fully informed on what options and results I was looking at. They completed the back of my house ( stucco ) the side of my house (thermoseal) they replaced a collapsed flu and completly restored an old fireplace. The team was punctual, friendly and I plan on having them back in the spring to do the front of my house. These guys are worth having them comeout an give a quote. Ask for Paul, he's the owner . Empire responded quickly to my work order. they showed up as promised and were polite and neat workers. The old saying holds true...."you get what you pay for." I used 2 other companies in the past and none of them removed as much old concrete from between the bricks as Empire did. We noticed one problem area and they were out the next day to fix it to our satisfaction. They also said any problems just give them a call. From my experience with them I am sure they will. One last remark, These men are not the type of workers you have to watch or keep on top of. I was very happy with them and plan to use them in the future for more work.

Paul and his crew did a great job on our house. Our project was the repointing of an 80 year old brick townhouse and the construction of a landscape boundary wall along with the rebuilding of a brick porch. The work was/is high quality and even better was the customer service. No job is ever 100% smooth and there is always a few minor bumps along the way but Paul really worked hard to make sure everything was satisfactory by the end of the job. There were no games played with the pricing meaning that we were quoted a price and we paid the same price. If I have more brickwork I will call Empire before all others.
