Came late for the appointment, I was not happy, but he did get the work done and apologized before left.

Eric, the owner, without my authorization, charged my acct for the entire cost of repair on the day he did the diagnostic plus more money that we didn't discuss. When I saw the charges, he said it was an accident and would refund the extra money he didn't quote me on and send me an invoice and pictures. On the day of the repair, having all of my money, Eric called to reschedule the repair for 2 days later. He offered to give me a ref and I accepted. Eric called back hrs. later to say he can do the repair that day. He did the repair but never refunded the extra charges and never sent me an invoice or the pictures.

The gentleman charged me more than he said he was charging. He used a "Square" credit card reader and signed for me instead of offering it to me to see and sign for myself. He also did not provide the receipt he said he would provide. Since then, he has not responded to my emails and a phone call to remedy the situation. I have waited two weeks for him to address it. The price difference was only $5, but when I add that to the list of the many little details he apologetically overlooked on the service call, I have to rate this person as not reliable and willing to forgive himself so much for all his little errors that he is also willing to be unethical. I will not use him again.

Great customer service, the service repairman was prompt. Ordered part and repaired the appliance the next day.

He did a good job and was on time.

He did show up quickly and quoted me $300 to repair a refrigerator at a home I manage. I did not compare his fee so I am not sure if it was a good price. My biggest complaint with him is that he charged my credit card $10 more than he quoted me and he never sent me a receipt which I need for my property owner. I contacted him and he promsed to credit my card $10 and send me a receipt which he never did.He is short sighted if he expects to get repeat business.

THINK this is who I used. The actual person I paid was to a company named BBee. But whoever he worked for the service was great, and the cost a great value. A small service charge on topi of cose of the work they did on my garbage disposal.

The repairman gave me an estimate for the price on the needed part and it ended up being double what he said it was going to be, but I was stuck paying it since I needed to have my appliance repaired.

Could be great. As others have mentioned, never got a receipt for payment. Was told I would be emailed one after diagnostic visit and another once full payment was made. Communication could be better, but can not complain about quality of work.

The serviceman arrived on time and repaired my dryer in a timely manner. He was very courteous and friendly.

He was in the area so came right by wtihin 30 minutes. Fixed the disposal when he easily could have said it needed replacing. Checked the dishwasher too! Great value, excellent customer service and a 60 day warrenty on the repairs!

Eric Ellis, owner of Encore, had a 9:00 am appointment with me on Sunday, June 3rd. He missed the first appointment he said because of a family obligation. He called later and said he was in route at 1:39 pm and didn't show up until 4:00 pm. He made a number of excuses, none the same. He arrived in an unmarked racy vehicle with no company name or company logo. He didn't appear to know what he was doing and only speculated about the problem with the refrigerator. He charged me $50 for a "trip" charge on my Visa credit card, but didn't have me sign anything nor did he swipe the card to my knowledge. He did not provide me with a RECEIPT, nor any paper trail/paperwork for his visit. It's as if he never was there. The charge was debited (I verified that with the credit card company). He promised that when he arrived home, that evening, that he would email me with an estimate of the cost for repair and furthermore acknowledge that he charged me $50 which he claimed would be credited towards the total repair charge. He never emailed me or telephoned me subsequently. He disappeared.

Repairman came to house and evaluated appliance and determined a part needed to be ordered. He ordered part and was due to come back the following Monday early in the morning however was very late so could not wait for part. Repairman stated he would call me back to reschedule to replace the part but never heard back from him since the initial assessment. Initially I was very impressed but he did not followup or contact me, and as a result do not view as a professional. I had to hire a different repairman and would never recommend Encore Appliance Repair to family or friends.

Encore did exactly what they promised and the customer service and communication was excellent. On the other hand All Area Appliances was absolutely terrible. The customer service and communication and timeliness and diagnosis was incorrect and they didn't care. Don't want to see them again. Would never recommend them. The technician was personable enough, but not thorough. The customer services person was absolutely the worst that I've encountered in the last 12 years. Never again

Eric was super! He was on time and very knowledgeable about our brand. He sat down with me and explained the problem in great detail. He was very nice and I will definitely use him again when needed. I highly recommend him.
