"This review appeared about a month after I finally caught up to Dean to discuss our unpaid invoice for design work. We never worked on site for Dean Aronson. I can assure any prospective new client that this assessment of the quality of our work is just plain wrong. The Aronson residence, basicly a very rough shack on a foundation of pt wood with some skirting on a sloped forest site, had numerous water and structural issues. Our work for Dean, for which we were not fully paid, consisted of the design of a modest rectangular addition that would structurally anchor the existing unfinished project that was built by Dean and hired day labor. The desired design was drawn up and budgeted, but Dean was unable to fund the project with us due to the lack of expressed funding. The only bad experience for Dean during this process was being asked to pay the agreed sums for the agreed design work. If anyone doubts my assessment of this situation, I will gladly show you documentation of this project. Best, Eric Glasser"
"What should have been a small disagreement over a specification that was a return to a previous specification to reduce costs caused this client to become hard to deal with. In the end we completed our work, yet we're not paid in full. We attempted, throughout this project, to please this client. All said, my only disagreement with these ratings is with the quality portion. 4 out of 5 should have been a 5 of 5. Even with a difficult situation we never cut back on quality. You can't win them all."
