Work completed on time and tiling looks good - clean up was poor

I had my kitchen and mud room tiled. The floors look great. I would definitely recommend the work of exclusive tile. My only complaint was that there was a little mess left behind as far as significant dust in the kitchen, mud room and adjoining rooms. Also where the tile cutter was on the deck there was a mess. I could deal with all that though since the floor looks good.

I am not sure if this is typical of replacing tile kitchen floor, but the clean-up for us after the project was completed lasted many days. Our house was so full of dust, even though he put up a plastic shield to prevent it. Again, this could be typical for everyone doing this project, but the amount of dust in our kitchen was ridiculous. Maybe if he covered the cabinets with drop clothes it could have prevented such a mess, but after the project was completed we had to take absolutely everything out of every cabinet and every drawer and wash everything. Any boxes of food that were open needed to be thrown away because of the dust.

Jay from Exclusive Tile was prompt and completed the job as estimated in his quote, no surprises. He has a lot of experience and knew exactly what was required to fix my shower floor tile job that someone else had done incorrectly. I would definitely refer him and hire him again.

Jay worked around our schedule. He did a great job on our kitchen backsplash and left the place clean. Very professional.

Project: Remove existing tile backsplash in kitchen, install 2x2 tavertine natural stone tiles diagonally, border in between & 4x4 in the remaining area. Jay did a very good job overall with very competitive price. He is very skilled on tile installation & cuts. Always arrives on time, fnished the project on schedule. He is also flexible, listener. Cons: Can improve a little on maintaining uniform grout spacing area, recommend using spacers. Our project was small, it turned out OK.

was hired to do a kitchen backsplash, we must have it redone. nice guy but i really do not think he knows how to lay tile. my wife spent three hours cleaning up the kitchen after he left.
