Central A/C Installation
The Daikin heat pump they installed broke fire the second time in less than 1 year since they installed it. Now they refuse to come fix it, they told me that they don't know what the issues is, and they hung up the phone on me. They refuse to honor the 12-year service warranty contract they sold me. When they came to try and figure out the issue their tech failed to write down the error code that was om my unit. He reset the unit and lost the code. Also, they failed to call Daikin support to ask for help, although I told them that the issue started immediately after I installed the Daikin app on a second phone. I called Daikin and they told me that that should have been the first thing the tech did, to contact them. A couple of months after the installed the unit, it broke down after a power outage. Fairview sent a tech, but he couldn't figure out what was wrong. Then the owner came with a manager and they told me that their techs had not installed the unit correctly in the first place and that was why it broke down.I'm stuck with a $24,000 system that barely blows any cold air and it won't cool my house down me than 2-3 degrees. Now I have to find another servicer who will accept my warranty and repair my system. Fairview has set appointments to come and diagnose the issue. Then they canceled saying the tech didn't have time to come in and told me that the owner would call me. It's been 2 weeks and no one called me. I called another servicer, paid them $185 for a diagnostic. They told me that the dampers need to be adjusted and the tech from the company that installed the unit should call Daikin and troubleshoot the issues. I sent the diagnostic to Fairview, but they refuse to do anything. I called them today and their employee, Jennifer, told me that there was nothing more they will do, that they don't know what's wrong with my unit. I told her that I would write reviews and she told me that that was illegal and she hung up on me.
