We will take care of any job no matter how big or small with affordable prices, & work we stand behind. When an appliance breaks down you need to get it fixed, quickly. That's why we offer Same Day Service. Perhaps getting it fixed during the day isn't convenient, or even possible. That's why Famous Appliance Service will make service calls as late as 9:00 p.m. and on Saturdays, at no extra charge. We provide One year warranty on all parts and labor. This is the longest warranty in the state for repairs. Fast and knowledgeable. Easily found the problem, ordered parts and returned to fix the electrical system on my washing machine. Offered suggestions for how we could maintain our washer & dryer, and also offered a few ideas for potential maintenance he could provide. We asked him to do one idea for our dryer. While the fix was expensive because of the parts, the service was fantastic.

Were very expensive. They charge a fee for coming out and giving you a quote, which at that point you feel inclined to accept or otherwise you've flushed down $40. The quote for labor was $85 and parts were $115, although i know the part sells for $43. Once I agreed it literally took them 5 minutes to fix the problem. It has worked since and guy was friendly. Just felt I got screwed a little.

Great customer service. Knowledgeable and friendly. Our repairs were a bit evasive and hard to locate parts which added to the overall repair time. Would definitely recommend Famous appliance and will use them again in the future I am certain.

Quick service, but $108 for service call and labor (10 minutes worth) and $200 for a part that could be purchased online for $50 was ridiculous. Next time we'll go elsewhere.

I called at 4 pm and at 6pm a repairman arrived at our house. He was fast and courteous. I hate having people come into my home but I felt quickly at ease with him. He cleaned up after himself and even entertained my 3 year old. My fridge is working better then it has in years. I thought for sure I was going to have to buy a new one right away so I feel as though Famous saved me a ton of money. I would totally recommend Famous to anyone and everyone.

Prompt, courteous AND timely in their response, and VERY professional in their service. More than I expected, in less time than I expected and at the price I expected. FAMOUS is my newest, most loved, service provider. The order taker/receptionist (Lisa) was extrordinarily courteous and helpful. The technician she sent to help us was competent, professional and very personable -- not to mention ahead of time for his appointment. Good job but took over 2 weeks to get a Maytag part and finish the job. Price seemed pretty high but once I payed for the service call it didn't seem worth switching horses midstream. They did call instantly when I contacted them in the first place and came on time for initial service visit. Did not return phone call when I called about when the part was coming and was late for followup appt.

This company did a POOR job of troubleshooting. After taking the machine apart and running a diagnostic test they said that it was the control board and would cost $580.00 to repair. We told them no way. We could buy a new machine for that amount (besides we have been unemployed for 18 mths). After they left and we paid the trip charge we started doing some research onine and found a similar problem. Thanks to that persons post, we ordered a $15.00 part, plus shipping and 15 minutes of our time our dryer is working!!! Called the company, but have not heard back from them. Thought they would want to know, guess not!!!

I called on a Saturday morning for service on my freezer. I had someone here right away. As it turned out, my freezer just needed a good cleaning and complete defrosting, and my serviceman recommended that we just let it work before investing in some expensive unnecessary repairs. I was happy to pay the nominal service fee, which he said would be applied to further service if it proved necessary. I would definitely call them again.

My fridge/freezer broke down at 6 p.m. on a Friday night. I was losing all my food so I contacted Servicemagic online and received a call from Famous within 2 minutes. They sent a tech out right away who determined the problem and was able to repair it on the spot. It took about an hour. I was very pleased except I thought the chargers were a little high. $198 for a part and $100 for labor. But it was cheaper than having to buy a new fridge. Overall, very pleased.
