A little bit about the owner Fred Howe: As the owner of Fireside Home Inspection, I believe that there is no substitute for "hands on" experience when it comes to understanding a structure, its components and systems. With over 25 years experience in residential and light commercial construction as a carpenter and general contractor, and advanced training in residential plumbing, heating and electrical systems, I can identify and interpret important "inspection clues," which revel your homes condition. I have inspected a broad range of homes, from 1600's colonials to modern contemporaries. As a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), I am committed to keeping abreast of current home building and home inspection developments, through workshops, seminars and trade publications. Please join me! The inspection will take approximately 2 1/2 hours for an average size house that is less than 50 years old. Although the inspection moves briskly, your questions are welcomed. At the end of the inspection, you will be a more educated buyer/homeowner.
