We are very happy with the new driveway. Frank and his crew were able to start the job quickly and finished as promised. Our rental property never looked better! Great job!!

I searched for six months to find a good concrete guy to tear out and replace my driveway along with build an rv pad and retaining walls. Frank came and gave me a bid on the spot a day after I contacted him. He was friendly, reliable and was one of the lower priced bids. He was more than happy to show me around some of his past and recent projects so that I could get an idea for the type of work he does. His work looked to be top notch so we wrote up a contract and four days later the entire project was finished. The bid price did not change and the finished product looks great.

1st Mountain did a good job on the patio, but there were several hidden costs on the back end that made me feel deceived. Only upon completing the job did Frank (owner) tell me that sealing the concrete wasn't part of the quote, and that it would be $300 more. Then the cost for the color in the concrete was 4 times what Frank originally estimated Frank also told me he owned a couple of stamps, yet he tacked on 50 unexpected dollars because he supposedly had to rent a small stamp piece. In the end, his company was not the lowest bidder; had I known that, I would have chosen someone else. If you use them, be sure to get EVERYTHING in writing.

They didn't finish on schedule but the sidewalk and driveway look great. They also completed the job without changing the bid price.

Frank responded to my request for a quote to extend my driveway immediately, he scheduled a visit within 48 hrs, wrote up a proposal on site and was able to schedule my work within a week. His workers were very careful with my plants and when it began to rain just after the concrete was poured, they covered everything in plastic and sat in their truck for about 2 hours so they could finish what they started. That says a lot about their dedication to the quality of the job. My neighbor owns a rebar company and immediately commented about the excellent concrete job that was done at my house :) I highly recommend First Mountain.
