GEM is a consulting engineering firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and materials testing services. Our principals have over 35 years of experience and we routinely provide services throughout the southeast on a wide variety of project types. At GEM, our mission is to provide our clients with the highest quality, responsive professional services available at a reasonable cost. Our clients deal directly with our principals who can best address technical issues and provide innovative problem solutions. Our services that are most applicable to residential clients are: Level 3 soil surveys required for septic systems, preliminary or final geotechnical studies for new homes, settlement studies for existing homes and foundation construction inspection.
