Shannon and his crew came in to my home and did a great job installing the unit we discussed. They did not make a big mess and cleaned up any mess that was made. They were very intertaining, joking and laughing and yet getting the job done. I plan on calling them for any other work on my unit in the future.

I did not use these folks. Charleston Heating and Air called me with a satisfactory price before I talked iwth with General Mechanical

I was quoted a very inaccurate price for the service before the service was done. I understand that this is an internal company problem and they are allowing me to make payments, but it was really annoying.

Shannon contacted me within minutes of receivng my request. He has great communication skills and let me know they were there to help, even if it meant working past "regular" duty hours. He arrived to the house and was very professional. He performed the diagnostic on our AC unit and found the problem (which was very small). Luckily he had the part on his truck and could fix the unit right away. Price seemed very reasonable, we paid a $70 diagnostic check and then paid for the actual part, the total was less then $150.

On time, professional, let me know what was going on as he worked on problem, reasonable priced for work. Made recommendations about how to prevent problem from happening again.

Received reply from Gen. Mech.one hour after posting and Sales visit scheduled for the next day. After checking site and discussion of needs,a competitive proposal was produced. Their proposal was compared with Four others (3 very competitive) and awarded to them . Work was scheduled for 8AM the following Monday and the uninstall and new A/C installed and running by noon-time. The installers were very professional and competent and the unit is performing very well. I would highly recommend them for similar work.
