Green Horizons Construction, LLC

This is the third project I've used Nick and each one has been overseen in a superb manner. His attention to detail has been outstanding and he has kept me informed at every step of the process. The projects include a bathroom renovation; a kitchen upgrade; and tearing down an old garage, installing a drainage field and supervising the construction of a new addition with living spaces over the garage. I highly recommend using Nick and his team of professionals. Eric G.

Nick and his guys were at all times punctual and professional as well as very flexible with some changes we made mid construction. He was very knowledgeable and offered pressure free suggestions throughout the project which were helpful. He gave us a quote and never waivered from it. Nick and his entire staff worked endlessly to complete our basement in a short period of time. They went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction with the finished project; Nick is a perfectionist. We are very pleased with the end result and intend to work with again him in the near future.

Nick did a great job on our kitchen remodel. We made several changes during the planning process and he made sure we knew budget impacts of every decision before we made it. He respected us and our home. He and his team worked hard to meet our our very tight schedule. He gave us good advice without pushing us in any direction. We are so pleased with the work he's done, we are planning a bathroom remodeling project with him.

While no re-modeling job is easy with the disruption in your house, Nick and his crew have been on top of the project from the beginning. Nick has followed through on all elements of the job, showing great diligence, professionalism and thoroughness. I have appreciated the attention to detail and respect the advice that he has given. Though he may not have been the least expensive in the many estimates I received, he answered my several questions and provided the best follow-up. He was also one of the few to see the problems that might arise during the re-construction and re-structuring of my kitchen and accounted for it in his estimate.

We were dubious of starting the project, so I was pleased to have a friend recommend Service Magic website, and did find it very helpful. After several interviews - all very helpful and very impressive contracting companies - I finally went with Green Horizons. Nick Gilason was very helpful and made some good suggestions; he also came in with the best estimate and stuck to it. For a project that I dreaded, I ended up thoroughly enjoying the remodeling of my kitchen and a bathroom. Nick was both professional and friendly. All his men were quiet, good natured, and hard working. I could not be happier with his work - highly recommended.

Very poor work. His plumbing subs punched 4 holes from bathroom into my bedroom & ruined the wall & fresh paint job.The hardwood flooring subs damaged the fresh paint job on the entire first floor. White baseboards had brown stain put on them, powder room had to be repainted. Left huge mess! Bath tile floor redone twice & still ruined. The electrician disappeared from the job for 5 weeks & could not be contacted. Reappeared to sort of finish job & then 6 weeks later wanted back into my attic to find a lost cell phone. Fired Gilason 1-7-09.

They did a lot of work in my house and I think Nick is a great guy. I have already recommended him to my neighbors and he has done a great job for them too.
