Talked to Mike about my popcorn ceiling, their company does mostly big jobs and commercial enviromental testing. he then spent almost an hour telling me the best method of testing and removal. he was very helpful and precise in all of the information. he told me how to get my own sample tested, and then even offered to help me understand the results.

Ask specifically how many samples should be collected and decide for yourself which samples are needed then, otherwise, he will collect more samples than maybe you thought are needed, which, of course, needs more money. But if you think always the more the better, then it won't be an issue for you. The service is excellent.

The lead asbestos consultant at Higgins & Associates (Mike S.) spent 45 minutes on the phone answering all of my questions, without ever trying to pressure me into hiring them. Their price quotes were 100% detailed and itemized and laid out every possible charge. - no surprises at all. At the actual inspection, Mike spent over 90 minutes doing a thorough examination of the home and patiently answered even more questions we had. Higgins seems to cost a bit more than other asbestos inspections (ours was ~$350), but I felt 100% confident they were doing a thorough job. I would absolutely use them again without hesitation.
