They had to come back to re-install the door. They seemed very inexperienced when they installed it the first time.

Homework remodeling replaced our deck (great job), converted a screened porch into a sunroom (fair, but the windows and room leaked), replaced the siding on the house (looks great, but finished 2 months later & the gutters leak), replaced the roof (overcharged once the project began and it initially leaked). I would not recommend this company for anything except decks. They are very unreliable, not dependable (Tom and Bobby always showed up unexpectedly and on a different day) and communication was poor. We were promised complimentary baseball tickets which we never received. Overall, I would not trust this complany nor recommend them.

Homework Remodeling did an outstanding job on my deck. I wanted to change the plans slightly after we signed the contract, and Homework accommodated my changes. When the time came to work on my project, the foremen was willing to meet with me and go over my concerns. The completed deck is very high quality (better than my neighbors) and I couldn't be happier with it.

The Precision doors are top quality and we love them. Also, the price was right. However, communication was not too good. Doors were to be installed starting April 15 and complete by May 5. On May 5, the doors were still at the factory. The installation crew got paid by the job, not by hour, so they were in a hurry, especially at the end. They lacked adequate tools and did a very rough job on the trim work - edges not mitered well, used silicon caulk instead of wood putty on interior trim work, used pine quarter round instead of oak shoe molding. I watched them every minute to make sure they did not overlook anything or take shortcuts. Some of the trim work I redid after they left. They did clean up well, and were all very courteous. Also, it was a tough job, since they had to take out metal frames and chisel out protruding concrete block and bricks to fit the door frame. But these guys were not the professional level finish carpenters that I expected to do the job.

We asked for the deck to be screwed in instead of nailed in, though we missed that Mark Jain didn't write it into the contract, though he verbally agreed; we were disappointed when the finished product was nailed. We told Mark Jain that we had to wait for home owner association approval before starting. My husband came home one evening to find all of the materials for our deck laying in the firelane of our community, partially blocking another owner's driveway. They also started digging the holes for the deck before we had approval. Our HOA was very upset with us. After the job was started, my husband received a call that the deck may have to be increased in size to meet code, though Mark Jain was the one that came out and measured. They wanted to charge us an extra $150 for this additional amount. In the end, the president of the company waived the extra fee, but when we measured the deck, it came exactly to the original size we were quoted on. This was a HUGE hassle.

We would never work with this company again an would never recommend anyone work with them either. Mark lied throughout the entire process from the timeliness of the project completion to working with our insurance company. The only reason the project was done well was because Mark hired a sub-contracter to complete the job. It was an awful experience. We ordered the roof December 22nd an the job was done mid-February when the job was to be complete within 15 days. They use the excuse of weather but the weather wasn't a factor but for a week or so. In fact roofers were at work all around us. My suggestion: ump Mark an his company for a lack of integirty, character, and communication.

Very fast installation. Great team of folks. Very professional. I would call Homework Remodeling again.

This was a very large and complex job involving siding, windows, trim work. Only one small board was missed and I was advised it will be fixed today. An outstanding job at about half the price of other contractors.

Homework Remodeling is very good. If I know who plans to do a deck, I will recommend Homework Remodeling. The deck they did for my house is very strong and nice. It is so secure.

Homework Remodeling provided me with the best value for the replacement Window. The installers were very professional, and work was done very quickly and they were very clean.

At first, I thought they did an excellent job on our roof, but as time progressed I noticed things they forgot to do. They also left a bunch of stuff at our house, and when I tried to call them, they never returned my calls. I have sent them e-mails to no response and now I have updated the rating to reflect this. It's now been almost a year since they have completed their work on my roof.
