Do not hire!!! Here's what I got for hiring John Keevill to do a kitchen remodel: - Big promises and grand stories that are never fulfilled. While working at my house, John took calls on speakerphone from at least THREE different homeowners who were angry with him over not showing up as scheduled, not receiving materials they paid for, and leaving their homes unfinished / unlivable. He did the same to me as well and now won't return calls, hence my review. - John used unskilled day laborers to do electrical and carpentry work instead of trained tradesmen or journeymen. Big shock...nothing he touched works! - Waste material from demolition is left behind unless you repeatedly press him to remove it. - He asks for money despite not hitting normal progress points in a job. I paid thousands for work not yet done. - At best, he shows up for 60% of the expected days/hours, until he's in over his head and can't fix the problems he created.

His work is excellent, when he does it. He's rarely on time, always has an excuse, works very slowly and not always methodically. He's not on site half the time. When he feels he needs a new job, because yours has dragged on - due to his lack of being able to schedule, he will drop you and not pay much mind to your project. He doesn't seem to have a handle on how to run a business efficiently. He doesn't schedule his subs very well and as a result the project gets backed up. He doesn't pay enough attention to detail when they are missed he will give an excuse why he doesn't need to go back and fix it. He is not very responsive to your questio

John Keevill was very knowledgeable electrical engineer. He was the only contractor who actually insisted on visiting the work site before giving any proice quote. Also made good suggestions about what fixtures to use etc. On the day of installation John and his assistant arrived on time and finished the project in about under 6 ahours or so. One good thing about John is he refused to commence the work without obtaining the necessary permits. The only downside is that the finishing after installing recess lights was not upto our expectations and the electrical iinspector which John said, will arrive later to inspect never showed up!

WE DECIDED THE JOB WAS TOO SMALL FOR THE TRIP. BUT HE DOES A LOT OF THINGS AND WOULD CHOOSE HIM AGAIN

We are selling our house and the estimate received by Keevil Construction was very reasonable for a complete deck replacement. HIs crew completed the work very fast. I would recommend J.F. Keevil Construction for your project needs.

We were unable to arrive at an equitable price in regards to our project.Mr Keevil was courteous and adhered to our appointment but his quote was not witin our budget.

John Keevill was extremely responsive and courteous throughout the process. He installed a beautiful oak banister for us, which has improved the look and feel of our home. I would certainly hire Keevill construction for any construction job, big or small, and feel confident that he would not only do the job well, but would treat my home with the same respect he treats his own.
