After being in business since 1914, we at J Rapaport Wood Flooring, LLC have learned all the tricks of the trade. Be it a basic install or a custom design, we handle it all. We provide custom designs and colors and offer only the highest quality products and workmanship. If you are interested in exotic wood types you have come to the right place -- we offer all wood types from the basic to most exotic. We have a 35-member crew and can handle any size flooring job for renovations, new homes, and commercial or residential construction projects. Our crews will respect your home and job site. We will work in your budget and are happy to use your designs, or we can assist you by providing designs for you.

Cannot say enough about how satisfied I am with his work. In writing 3 years later for the first time because my floor still look amazing! I did my homework and interview several flooring company and by far rapport was the best. Well establish, professional, quality work the type Verizon would give a super warranty on! Have recommend him over and over and always the great result.

Reasonable ..Very professional, right on time, will recommend them definitely for your project. Actually, in my case, they did not take any advance and they took whole money after they finished job that to I called them to collect money :-) However, they did good job with less notice. I actually hired another company and everything was ready but another company guy did not show-up on the start day. Therefore, I called Mr. Rapaport and right away and he agreed to do the job. I am happy that I hired J Rapaport Wood Flooring as they did great job for the same price what other company quoted me. Good luck..

They were a little late, but it didn't pose a problem for me. The two men worked hard, took care to protect my furniture and kept busy the entire move. The agent was very responsive to any question and/or concerns that I had. The floors came out beautiful. It gave new life to the two rooms that were done. I would use the company again.

Very cordial, flexible and extremely professional and clean. I am impressed with the level of service so far. The floors look great, and they really kept the place clean. The true test will be to see the floors in a few months after they've been walked on. I am confident that it will still be great. Good job !

The job was not checked for imperfections by a supervisor, had to request for fixing of obvious imperfections and the would show up, without letting me know and ended up expending more money that what I expected since I had to take more days off work, and I still have a piece of metal to be removed, the haven't called me to check on this, or on the outcome of the project.

"this job was done as well as possible given the problems at the job that the client would not deal with. as we removed carpet and other floor covering issues were found these are things we could not see until the old floor coverings were removed. what could we do we did not charge half of what we lost."

A complete nightmare. The owner is charming but a liar donot trust him. Days 1-7 we leave apt for them to refinish floors. Day 1 workers came 5 hours late and when my wife called recept. new nothing. She gave workers keys and left the apt. Days 2-4 She called the owner and said work was continuing. Day 5 owner calls and said he did no work all week. Day 7 Sun I called owner he gives excuse. We complained to service magic and when they asked he lied to them and said our apt was 100 years old and to hard to work on (it's 14 years old.) It took him 21/2 week to return our deposit

"it is unfortunate that this customer was not understanding. the building was over 100 years old when i looked at the work i expalined that sourcing the wood may be an issue well it was and worse. we serached all over the east coast, but no luck we tried to make a bad situation better. we refunded all the monies and appologized this was still not good enough i do resent being called a liar"

People whom I spoke to on the phone were great. However, the first sander did not show up because his truck broke down. Had to reschedule for two weeks later. When the floor was finally done, the work was excellent. But, it was difficult to communicate with the sanders because neither seemed to speak any English. When I told them they "blew" a fuse they pointed to things that were the color blue. They also left the fuse box hanging cockeyed on one screw - never did find the other three. Still, the floor looks gorgeous.

"we always ask if the building has 110v or 220v electric we offer to come by however some clients say they know we got to the job with the wrong equipment the correct equipment was at another large job. the job was rescheduled and done perfect the fuse box had to be chisseled off we found the old paint holding the cover on we supplied the screws. sorry but it takes some extra work to get the work done."
