About us

The firm of Jerome W. Morrissette & Associates Inc., P.S. (JWM&A) was formed in 1978 to provide municipal and private clients with complete civil, municipal and geotechnical engineering services. Since 1978, JWM&A has served as City Engineers for approximately twelve (12) Western Washington Communities and provided civil and municipal engineering professional services for many other cities and government agencies. With the addition of Dennis Baker into the firm, JWM&A is owned by five (5) licensed engineers and one (1) licensed land surveyor, enabling the firm to add land surveying to their menu of professional services. Mr.Baker graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Sciences and a B.S. Forest Resources & Logging Engineering. He has been a Certified Land Surveyor since 1999. Dennis's experience with the production of all types of surveys makes him an excellence choice for any type of project. Dennis provides superior service in a cost effective and timely manner.

When I set-out to hire a surveyor, I had no idea the time and effort required for this job. Initially I was surprised at the estimated cost, but once the project was explained to me by Dennis, I was much-more comfortable with it. It took two-guys 8-hours to survey my lot, plus the additional work ahead of time with the county, etc. The guys that did the work were courteous and careful not to impact my property or the neighboring properties any more than necessary to do the job.

We chose Jerry Morrissette & Associates to handle a re-survey of property lines & were very pleased with how knowledgeable Dennis was and how the work was completed in such a timely manner. I would recommend Jerry & his associates for any engineering and land surveying work you may need done.

They were very professional and timely. We explained the type of property survey we needed and they gave us different estimates complexity and if they found any boundary disputes with neighbors. Work was completed at the lower than the estimates and surveyor spent time with us showing us what he had done, how the corners were established and where a minor problem with neighbor and how to deal with it. We recommended them to another neighbor and coworker. Would use them again, no questions asked.

I was impressed both by the people we talked with at the office that helped us set up the project and the man that came and did the work. We appreciated their feedback as to the type of work we needed and their flexibility and professionalism in accomplishing the task we needed. They got back to us in a timely fashion and were helpful with any type of question that we had and have been helpful in clarifying any next steps that might be needed as a result of our survey.
