Bathroom Remodel
Overall, I am pleased with how my bathroom remodel turned out. I contracted with John Johnson to have the main bathroom in home gutted, reconfigured, and remodeled. Since this was the only full bath in my home, I also had John build a new full bath in my basement. I was happy with the price he quoted for both projects; the price was very competitive. He is very detailed and meticulous. The detail work in both bathrooms is perfect. The only downside I would report is that he subcontracts the plumbing work to a plumbing contractor. This plumbing contractor caused significant delays in the project - no shows, other jobs interferring, etc. ( I signed the first check October 27, 2008 and the project was finished on February 26th, about 2 months over schedule. But for everything else - carpentry and other household projects I would recommend John.

"My plumber on this project is a plumber I have been using for many years. He recently took a job with a college full time. We both decided he can't do larger jobs like this. I have since changed plumbers to correct the time it takes to do a job. He is a very good plumber but he was taking on more than he could handle."
