About us
I began a career in construction in 1970 while still in high school working as a laborer during school breaks. Through more than 15 years of working with tools in the trades, I gained knowledge and experience in the following areas: interior trim, cabinetry, framing, siding, drywall, roofing, foundations and flat concrete. I have used these skills in both new construction and remodeling. In 1976 I transitioned from the field starting as a General Contractor and Development firm. As an owner, I have been responsible for the day to day management of the business, land acquisitions, the entitlement and permitting process, overseeing the design development, cost estimating, project management, and labor supervision involved with the construction of numerous high-end and speculative single family homes and multi-family projects. Because of my extensive construction background, at L. Spear Builders, Inc., Im proficient at generating cost of repair and all location reports.
