From the beginning, our experience with John was great. He was very easy to work with. With my wife and I being very particular about our flooring choice, John was very patient with us while we tried to decide on our flooring choice. John made mulitple trips to our house and countless phone calls to discuss the many options he had available. John was very knowledgeable about his profession and offered some valuable advice in how the floors were installed and what material we used in which areas of the house. Overall it was a great experience and we now feel like we have a new house. We would highly recommend John and LKN Floors to anybody.

These people did not provide what they had promised us. The sales rep volunteered the information that we would never know where the seam was in the carpet. Having never had that problem, ever, I didn't think that much about it until the carpet was installed. We had two, ugly, puffy seams that crossed each other, so after inspecting the carpet they decided there was a factory defect and had the factory replace the carpet. The problem is, they used the same installer who left the ugly seams on the first carpet, even though I had been told that a commercial carpet layer would be doing the second installation. I now have one big ugly, puffy seam

"The installer has 20+ years of successful installations. We made many trips to her house and did everything we could to make her happy. There was no way to install this room without a minimun of one seam. The seams were originally put where they were to help reduce the amount of carpet needed and therefore reduce the price. We could have walked away after the 1st installation, but we didn't. We replaced the carpet and relocated the seam. She knew where we were putting the seam and she was aware that it wouldn't appear invisible. Both times the seams were properly constructed. Her description of the seam is overly dramatic and untrue"

Just completed the wood floor installation project with Lake Norman Flooring and I am totally impressed the way they handelled this project.LNF's Price is very competative and no hidden costs. Also I was Impressed by their customer service, attention to the details. John and his crew are very customer friendly , always mindfull about the my(customers) needs and took all possible steps to address the needs .Even they took extra steps to refinish the existing floor to match the color of the new floor (with no extra cost). Over all great experience on this project and I i would highly recomend these folks.

It was a wonderful experience. The Opetionas Manager, Charles was in contact with me at all times and all of the employees were so professtional and nice. I have never had a project go as well as this one did. It was a hard task made easy. I thank each and every one of theie employees that I inacted with.

First i would like to say everyone at LNF are wonderful. they did a great job we are very happy with our new hardwood floors. they even finished a day early when the job was finished there were a couple of things i was'nt happy with not that there was anything wrong with it maby im just to picky they came right back out at my convenence and made it right or should i say made me happy. that is defently one thing they did was make sure i was happy even two weeks later shannon called to make sure i was still happy. so i would recommend LNF to anyone thinking of getting hardwoods. i would like to give a special thanks to charales,john & shannon

The whole project was messed up by them from day one. Not getting started on time .Call backs for poor and shoddy work. I wouldn't let them back in my house

"The project did start on time. It became more difficult when he wanted us to change some things after the fact that were not shoddy in my professional opinion. Even though this customer was difficult to work with, we maintained a professional behavior, finished the job with a smile on our faces, and did everything we could to keep it nonconfrontational."

Shannon called me back right away and came out that day to do a measure of the desired area, durring which time we discussed what kind and color of carpet I would like. He got in touch with me the next day to set up a time to look at what choices we had. Before we even went to look he had a quote to me for a carpet he thought matched my desires. The price was great and was what we ended up with. The installers were very professional and quick.

We got exactly what we wanted and the job was done very professional. We especially loved the one on one contact with the representated of the company. Shannon, who worked with us exclusive was the best. We were not living there at the time of the work being done but Shannon kept us up dated every day through calls and e-mails. He always did what he said he would do. No question. Very happy with this company and very pleased with their work.

My experience with Lake Norman floors was great. This was our first time re-doing floors in our house. The salesman was so helpful, giving us options, and helping us find the best ways to keep our costs down. They were also very fast, from the time of our estimate to the completion of our job was about a week (6 rooms). The installers were also great. They were very mindful of how the room could be improved ( they moved the island over slightly to allow more space between the it and the refrigerator). Except for the amount of dust I had to clean up afterward, I was very happy.

The team installing the floors was professional and courteous. I'm delighted with the finished product and would definitely recommend this company. I compared prices with other companies around town, and Lake Norman was very competitive. The personal attention was most appreciated - all the small details were taken care of promptly. in particular, Charles Shouse is a terrific project manager and deserves high praise.
