Over 20 years ago, Tom Layne started in the alarm industry working for larger security companies. After a few years of learning the industry, he decided to open his own company, Layne Security. Through the years, Tom has built his company and continues to be successful by being competitive with larger national companies. This was achieved by being honest, dependable, knowledgeable and most importantly, affordable. Our customers range from the single-family homeowner to large corporations. Layne Security continues to provide security and fire detection services for nationwide chain pharmacies, restaurants and department stores. We also provide 24 hour a day, 7 day a week monitoring services which are state of the art and are priced well below our competitors. Our monitoring fees are kept low because we have no contracts, no credit checks, no hidden charges and no fine print. If we could use only one word to describe the difference between us and other companies it would be affordable.

Of the three recommended, Tom was the only one who came to my house to meet with me. I felt more comfortable hiring a company who sent a quote only after "seeing" all that it would entail. I also appreciated the fact that they covered their shoes before walking on my carpet. When Tom and Jodi came out to do the installation, I was impressed by their professionalism and how they constantly cleaned up throughout the process. Although half of the job turned out being more time-consuming, they were able to finish the next day and never tried to ask for more than their original quote. I felt very satisfied and highly recommend them!

After I submitted the project, Tom called me within an hour with a time he could be there to check it out. Not only was he and his wife on time, they were also able to handle the job on the spot without scheduling a second appointment. I should also mention neither of the other 2 companies suggested called at any point in time.

Layne Security was great! They showed up on time and were very professional. The installation of the TV mount was not cut and dry but they found a way to make it work. The price was very affordable and significantly better than most other quotes we recieved. Great quality and price...we are very happy with our TV mount

Tom Layne is awesome. He understands what I want, and listens to my ideas. He will make suggestions. All without trying to upsell me on anything. We have an issue where my DVR does not support a MAC. Will be getting a MAC supported DVR probably with more channels. I didn't feel like I needed more cameras in the beginning. He listened and didn't try to move me into a 8ch DVR. Now on my own accord I thought it might be nice to have more. Seeing as how we are replacing the DVR anyway. He will spend the time to assist with any troubleshooting/questions anytime. Customer service is superb! Highly recommend!!!!!

Tom and Jodi are the best. They went above and beyond to make sure my system was installed correctly. They took their time and did an excellent job. Very professional. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a flat tv hung on their wall or anyone who needs a surround system. I've already recommended them to a friend.

What I thought would be a simple process turned out to be complicated, but Tom and Jodi took care of it. An originally though simple TV mount required running HDMI, moving outlets, adding spacers, running to the "store" a few times to get parts, and probably several other things I can't remember. Very professional, very detailed. They also hung some cabinets for us. This goes way beyond what we expected. And to top it off, Tom called our satellite installer early on Saturday morning to explain to him what he needed to do. I will definitely recommend Layne Security for any type of work requiring wiring (or most any general work).
