Window Frame Repair Service
we started to repair a number of windows early December 2009 - and we finished it today, February 16, 2010. What did I like: they did, as far as I can see it today, a quality job. It took its time, if you have time and you do not mind, you are fine. Otherwise you will have to accept frustrations. We made appointments and they did not show up - they would not call and let you know. You have to move them, ....

The bathroom windows that were replaced were to be tinted the same as the one that broke. They are low e and look a little green but can be seen thru unlike the original glass. we mentioned to the owner that we would like to take the tax credit and he told us we would have to do the low e type of glass instead of just regular glass but it would cost a little more so we did. the installer told us we could not take it off our taxes because the frames were not being replaced. so we paid more for the glass replacement for an upgrade that we can't take off of our taxes and it isn't tinted and now people can see directly into our bathroom.

The quality of their work doesn't even come close to the price they charge for it. I would never use this company again because of this. It's rare to find someone who still cares about their workmanship. They don't care about workmanship, at least for the job they had with me anyway.

I was very impressed that I got the quick and prompt response that I was looking for. I needed an emergency service for having a window glass replaced and they were out to my house within 30 minutes and had a new glass to my house in 2 hours and it was taken care of! I was impressed.

Did not have the glass on hand. Had to special order. Very reluctant to adjust delivery time to meet my work schedule. Customer workman was great he agreed to meet me after I got off work. But, the company itself was difficult to arrange his schedule. Great workman, not so good company.

I really appreciated getting a call from Marc's Glass (rather than me having to call them) after submitting my service request. I thought my window was a single pane, so that was what the initial quote was for. When the installer came to the house, he showed me that the window was a dual pane and gave me 2 options - 1 for Marc's glass to make the window themselves or the 2nd option was to order the glass which would present a delay, but was significantly less costly. I appreciated the time the installer spent in explaining things to me and I also appreciated being able to get an estimate over the phone at the initial contact.
