Working with Mattos Company Inc has been a pleasure. They have done a fabulous job on my 2 story front porch and I would consider using them again for other projects. Their workers are professional, hard working and skilled craftsmen. I would highly recommend them.

Good work

We are extremely pleased with their level of professionalism. They do great work. Very accomodating. Head contractor Thales Mattos comes by just about daily to make sure all is going on as expected. We have completed just over 2 weeks of work and I can say that we are probably well over 70% complete. There have been no surprises. He has completed all that was contracted to date. Workers are very neat, organized and polite as well as they clean up after themselves daily. The company is also very flexible when it came to making some changes. We never expected for all to go as well as it has. They are a 10+++++.

This is our second round of remodeling with Mattos Co. This is the second job we have hired Jel for. We called Jel early in the summer for a kitchen remodel and the job was completed just last week. We wanted to install our 'dream kitchen' which included high-end professional grade appliances. In addition, we wanted to save our old cherry cabinets while also installing new. Jel's cabinet maker did an exemplary job of building new cabinets to match our old. Everything from the installation of appliances, to the cabinets, to design was top-notch. They are back in the fall for the addition of closets for the third job!

They complete the first part of the job on time and mostly to my specs. Final results looks great and we look forward to continue working with them.

Overall I am very happy with the company and the end result of my bathroom project. They were always on time, professional, and consistently left my house clean at the end of each day. I would highly recommend Mattos and will keep them in mind for future projects.

We got quotes from many contractors for our basement, and Mattos Company was by far the very best from the beginning. Jel Mattos was very rpofessional, honest, and to the point, He clearly is an expert of his field. The price for the work was fantastic, and the quality of the work was outstanding. They did a large amount of work very quickly, including windows, walls, ceiling, floor, lighting, and door. Mattos Company was absolutely top-notch, from the day I received a call from Leo (project manager at Mattos) to the day I submitted my final payment. I interviewed 8 different contractors, but upon meeting Leo and getting his price quote, my fiancee and I knew that it was a perfect match. The excellence didn't stop at Leo--each member of the project team seemed hand-picked by Leo and Jel (the company owner) to fit the mold of excellence. They went well beyond what I had expected in remodeling my kitchen--and the final result looks incredible! Unequivocally, Mattos Company provided highly-skilled, professional, fair, and courteous service!

I had the outside of my house stained, trim painted and wrought iron railings scraped and painted. Everything turned out great. Very professional, came when they said, cleaned up every day. Finished the job on time considering it was done on the weeks where thunderstorms were popping up all the time. Mr. Almeida and his crew were so easy to work with. If we had any questions, he returned calls promptly. Also, the total cost for this project was reasonable. I highly recommend Mattos Company, Inc.

I am very pleased with Mattos Co. From the very beginning of the process, their helpful suggestions and the great job they did, it was a pleasure working with them. I will definitely call them back for another project I am planning this fall.

We met our project manager, then our bathroom designers, (who worked with us on 3-d images of our future bathroom). We had a lot of fun giving input and learning about the possibilities for our new bathroom. Once we finalized our choices, new images were made so that we could see the possibilities for our new bathroom. Before beginning this project, we knew we wanted a new large shower and a large bathtub. In addition to this we received a beautiful custom vanity and linen closet. The granite is beautiful and glass tile along the walls is striking, really. Our project manager never abandoned us - we love the space!

The folks at Mattos are miracle workers. They took our beat-up walls and crumbling plaster and icky carpet and transformed the house into something worthy of Martha Stewart -- in less than two weeks. Now we have smooth, beautifully painted walls with elaborate trim, and gleaming hardwood floors throughout. Seriously, they did this in less than two weeks! No one I know believes me, but we presented the guys with a preposterous schedule, and they got everything done right on time. I'm more than impressed; I'm floored. Please use them; it will be the best decision you ever make.

Jel, the owner, came out to my house personally for the original estimate and on the day he sent out the tiler. He is the consumate professional. On time, courteous, and reasonalby priced. There needs to be more people like him in his industry. I have already given his card to friends of mine and will undoubtedly use his services again.

I needed some sheetrocking and carpentry done in a hurry. They quoted me a very fare quote and came in the next day. The sheetrock installation was absolutely first class. I know where the seams are and I can't see them! Not only was it done perfectly, the workers made very little mess and always cleaned up at the end of the day. The next day the carpenter came in and sanded and primed the wall. Great work! He then installed some new molding and old molding. He had some great ideas on how to make some of them look better than before. It was an absolute delight to work with this company. I highly recommend Mattos Company.

I am extremely pleased with Mattos company and all members of their staff and workers. They had great advice and did fine work. Very quick and reasonably priced. I will use this company again for future projects. Friendly, nice, knowledgeable guys who take pride in their work. I highly recommend them.

Mattos Company, put a new roof on our home, renovated an old bathroom, built a farmers porch, currently they are remodeling our kitchen and dining room The work has been superior. The construction crew is always polite and considerate. They arrive each morning and work all day. The attention to detail is really quite remarkable. I love our new bathroom and can't wait for our new kitchen and dining room to be completed. Which by the way is on schedule and budget! Calls are ALWAYS answered and questions addressed promptly. They did what they told me they would do. The job came out very good.

Beautiful work! Came in near estimate, very reasonable pricing for the amount of work completed. Ran a little over schedule, but the end result was well worth it!!

Showed up punctually. Did good work at the price quoted on the phone, after asking my girlfriend, who let them in, for $300 more than they had originally quoted me on a $400 job.
