Michael Tarr Construction

The metal roof work was great. However he also added a deck with a roof. He did not pay attention to detail. He put the stiles on the wrong side of the railing. He came back to correct them but was short 3 stiles & “made due” by leaving 3 out. Also he installed one stile that was obviously broken. The cut edges of each board were left without sanding & they would splinter. He used the cheapest wolmanized wood he could get. One of the 2 x 6 support beams was very splintered at a large knot. It should not have been used but he returned & sanded it until it left a large indentation in the post beam at the top of the stairs. He only put a handrail on one side of the stairs. I guess the inspector passed the work but he wasn’t pleased when we met with him. So in summary, I would recommend him for roofing but not for any other carpentry work.

Did great work very nice guys did such a good job having him quote me windows and gunters for camp

Mike is very easy to work with. He does quality work. Very knowledgeable in his trade.

He was efficient, informative, professioanl and we were pleased.

Michael is delightful to have around, curteous and listens to you when you ask him to do something. He is always prompt for appointments. Work has been really good on both the interior and exterior of my home. People comment on the garage he built and ask me if it's an apartment because it's done so well. Very thorough work and he thinks things out. He's a blessing for me at my age.
