Miracle Remodeling

We were extremely displeased with Miracle Remodeling (to say the least). A two week project turned into an eleven week project. There were some revisions to the original plan on our part but it wasn't enough to cause such delays. And that would have been eliminated if they had evaluated the job correctly in the beginning. They had many problems with their subcontractors. Apparently they overbooked jobs and didn't have enough people to cover the projects. Communication completely lacked through the entire project. They said they would get something done by a certain date and they wouldn't follow through. They painted rooms wrong colors which they had to correct which cut into time. Some of the items were not completed to our satisfaction but we were so ready for them to leave our house that we just dealt with it. The list of negatives is too long and tremendously over powers the list of positives. I would not recommend Miracle Remodeling to my worst enemy! The only positive thing we could say about them is that about halfway through the project we included a late penalty clause. They went about 10 days over the date so we were able to deduct those days from our final payment.
