Overall job was a good experience except the concrete (mason). The concrete has dips in it and started cracking after 6 months. The company is suppose to fix this cracked area I am waiting to see.

Steve Morono Construction took no interest in providing me with any level of customer service; and have demonstrated the attitude that I should accept sub-standard poor quality work and when I would not, my comments, concerns, demands were totally ignored, and the only solution you offered was to send back the sub that did not have the skills to complete the job properly that caused the mess and problem to start with. Never once did anyone from Steve Morono Construction Co. come forward to provide me with any reassurance or direct assistance. The project started September 20, 2005 and was finished June 8, 2006, and was only 512 sq. feet.

Very poor communication and timeliness. Contract stated and verbal promised to be complete in October - finished in February. Said they were to busy building other house. Sub-contractors were not contacted in a timely manner. Did not always clean up. Would not fix all mistakes and threatened to put a lein on the house if we did not make the final payment. Ended up paying and fixing some things ourselves to avoid legal issues. Would not recommend Morono Construction to anyone. Also tried to charge $500.00 to put a dryer vent in the laundry room - we were able to avoid this. Quality of work was Ok but did not make up for the hassle.

We had a problem with our front walk and steps. Steve came up with a great plan and he and his crew did a terrific job fixing the problem. They also cleaned up very nicely afterward. I would highly recommend Steve Morono and would hire him again myself in the future.
