Mr. Handyman of South Sacramento County

The owner of this franchise did a great job for me but he has sold the business to someone else. I have no idea how good of a job the new owner will be doing. The worker that did my varied projects (Brett) was very efficient, very accommodating and did excellent work. I would recommend him to anyone.

I wanted Christmas lights hung. Mr Handyman was on time, open to my ideas of what I wanted and did everything to meet my expectations. I loved the final outcome.

He had to return to my house the day after putting up my outdoor Christmas lights. He had put too many (more than the 3 recommended on the box) strings of lights together and they had "shorted out" and weren't working. He returned free of charge the next day and fixed the problem.

They got out here and done quickly, which was what I needed at the time.

The problem I have is a leaking sink and a patio door that is having problems sliding. I asked them to look at it. The guy spent two hours (at least that's what I'm getting billed) on the sink and the door. They replaced the hose to the side of the sink and said that would stop the leaking. Well, it didn't. I also asked them to look at the cabinet inside the sink to see if it needs to be replaced because it was smelling really bad. All the guy did was put another board on top of the board that was already there and never did anything else. He also looked at the patio door and assessed that it needed to be replaced. However, he never put back the screen door that they took off. It's still sitting outside in the backyard. So their manager called me back and said that he was going to look into it. That was last Thursday. It's been a week and I still haven't heard any news from them.

Great service, prompt estimate, I went with them.

I would recommend Mr. Handyman with high regards. He called me promptly upon my service request. He provided a quote for the work to be done. He showed up when he was scheduled and the work was performed very quickly. He was very professional. The completed project was great. I had three french doors rescreened and two window screens rescreened. Two of the french doors were wooden and I had been unable to find anyone who would rescreen for a reasonable price. Tom Henry did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend.

Tom communicated with me throughout the install. He was very effcient and knowledgable

Just started work today and everything was great! I'll post more when we're through.

Overall the quality of the work was good. There was some difficulty in assembling the latch on the gate and afterwards my Dad had to tighten the screws so the gate would stay shut. The gate was solid and much improved over the previous gate that was built by another fence contractor. We had to pick up some nails, and other trash left behind. Inspite of the above mentioned problems, I would use this company again.

tech install chiminey hood. did not read install instru /cut the chimeny 1/2. cut was crooked / hung lopsided. removed /salvaged the scrap piece. created a range hood 20 inches too short. wired a range that blew a comp hours after. Lowes blames tech / refuse refund. On 11/4, tech install replace range. chg'd $90 again. took 10 mins asked to replace light switch for bathroom fan. worked, but by that evening it no longer worked. called to complain tech would be at my home 8AM on Monday 11/7. called no tech avail until Wednesday, 11/9. called the AM of 11/9 to cancel. appraisal was done 11/9 noted that the bathroom fan did not work.

Really nice people--very clean, polite, and timely, but their front office grossly underestimated the amount of work involved and thus really underbid the project. A "two hour" job turned into eight.
