1st off let me say Malcolm is a very friendly guy. Easy to get along with. He does try hard. However I do have some complaints. The price to remodel my bathroom was reasonable. It was the lowest of all estimates I got. However I was told in the beginning it would take 6-7 days. It actually took 4 weeks to complete. He said because I added things, which I did, but I didn't add enough things to drag it out an extra 3 weeks. The main problem it took so long is because he hardly ever put in a full day. Getting to my house at 11:30 AM to start work and working a 1/2 day is not going to get it done. And most days he started at 11:30 AM. There were several flaws that I myself had to point out, and he did indeed correct most. However there are still flaws that aren't corrected. The paint job I had done is not good. There are spots where the paint ran and drips accumulated on the wall. I asked for 2 coats of paint, of which I supplied, and truly have my doubts that 2 coats were put on. His helpers did that poor job. I bought a can of ceiling paint too that I wanted used for the ceiling but the helper grabbed another can of trim paint I had laying around and used THAT for the ceiling. Not happy at all with that. I may have to repaint the bathroom. I had a new bathroom door put in and the outside around the casing has a gap and the paint is off between the casing and the wall and needs to be caulked and painted. He left that for me to do. I bought the paint and now I have to fill in the gap and paint it. That shouldn't be my job. They put the brass pipe in the wall for the shower and forgot to attach the pipe to a bracket leaving the pipe wobbly. After putting the walls back up and the tile in, he then had to cut a square hole in my closet to makeshift a bracket to attach the brass pipe solidly. Poor workmanship. I didn't expect holes to have to be cut in my other walls and repaired because they didn't do the job right the 1st time. They also never covered the bathroom doorway when tearing out the walls. Needless to say the WHOLE house was covered with about 1/16 of an inch or more of dust. It was a mess. We are STILL cleaning and may have to pay a couple hundred dollars for a cleaner to come in and help us clean. The doorway should have been covered. That would have kept the dust in the bathroom. They also should have informed me to lay a tarp in the basement if they weren't going to do it. What a mess all over the basement floor from tearing out the bathroom floor. I can understand that but I should have been told if they weren't going to do it. And then there were the damages. They cracked my daughter's bedroom wall while tearing out the bathroom. They did patch and paint it. They severely cracked the closet wall and that had to be repaired and painted too. They also damaged and broke the wall in my computer wall while tearing out the bathroom wall. That wall he patched, gave me $20 to buy the paint and left that for me to paint too. Again I have to do

Malcolm did a nice job for a fair price. A few disagreements came up along the way but he was eventually willing to compromise.

We were very pleased. Our curved stair railing project was manufactured and finished beautifully and installed on schedule. It was a great experience to work with Malcolm. We will definately hire the Nazareth Carpentry Shop again.

The job was well done. The workers cleaned up well, how ever the job was not completed on time and some of the finnish pices were missing. Overall I would and have recommened the to others.

WE DIDN'T PLAN THE PROJECT IN DETAIL BEFORE STARTING... THIS CAUSED A FEW EXTRA TRIPS TO HOME DEPOT. BUT, HE WAS PATIENT AND FINALLY THE PROJECT WAS COMPLETE. HE DIDN'T VACUUM UP THE RESIDUE FROM THE CARPET.. BUT OVERALL IT WAS A PLEASING EXPERIENCE.
