John O'Kelley has been an active member of the Home Builder Association of Lake County, Florida Home Builders and National Home Builders Associations for more than 20 years. He has served on the board of directors of the Lake County Association of Home Builders, served as president of the Leesburg Board of Realtors, director of the Leesburg Downtown Partnership, served on many governmental committees, and is a member of the Leesburg Historic Preservation Board. Both John and O'Kelley Homes, Inc., have received numerous "Parade of Homes" awards and has received recognition for outstanding historic preservation of buildings in Leesburg. John is a life-long resident of Lake County and is a graduate of Florida State University. He is a Navy veteran whom has served in Vietnam and had assignments with the Navy Seabees. He has dedicated his professional life to building homes with the same pride and craftsmanship he would want in a home for his own family. O'Kelley Homes, Inc., is not a high-volume builder, but has built in excess of 160 custom homes in Lake County.
