Hired to deal with a leaking backdoor. The work stretched out for over a month as he frequently canceled, frequently showed up late, frequently didn't complete tasks he said he would. I was without a door for a length of time in February, my heating bill doubled.  The last day he came he left without doing any work or trying to contact us even though we were in the house.  He left screws and trash all over my backyard.  When we began to question why the project was taking so long he became belligerent to my husband and decided he no longer wanted to work with us.  To top it all off, the door continued to leak.  We finally got another guy in to finish and he said the work Robert Hagerman did was sloppy. Then Robert proceeded to charge us for over $2,000 for an unfinished job and threatened to put a lien on our house prior to the bill even being a month old.  And when I told him I was unsatisfied and that I was pursuing a complaint with the Construction Contracting Board as well as negative feedback on his media profiles, he proceeded to insult me. Iâ ve hired contractors before and this was one of the worst, most frustrating and overall unsatisfying situations Iâ ve ever had. He is so unorganized I donâ t recommend him to anyone.  

So much better to have someone who knows what they are doing. Rob did an excellent job.

He did a great job, he was available to do it very soon after I made the request, and his fee was reasonable.

Excellent experience all around!

We hired Rob to replace exterior trim and make several small repairs in order to put our home on the market. He was very knowledgeable in all home repairs and helped us with electrical work, drywall and several more repairs as well. Rob is the consummate professional. He did just what we asked to repair peeling around our skylights. He also fixed a non-functioning cooktop burner for free. He's very fair, knows what he's doing, communicated well with us and cleaned up afterward! Will definitely use his expertise again. I recommend him without hesitation.

I hired Rob Hagerman of On the Spot Handyman Services to help me remodel my duplex. He installed Traffic Master interlocking flooring and new doors throughout which included a front door and a backyard slider. I found Rob to be capable, dependable and downright likeable. I highly recommend Rob to anyone looking for honest professional help that won������������������������t break the bank.

We transferred to a new house and Rob did several jobs for us over a period of three months - electrical fixes, kitchen cabinet pull-outs, garage shelves, fireplace mantel, outdoor perimeter fence, bathroom plumbing and several other small fixes around the house. He is efficient, neat, honest and very pleasant to work with. We are blessed to find him, an all-around handyman. Even Buddy, our dog likes him and he's a good judge of character. :) We highly recommend him!

We had screens and a patio screen door that had sun rotted and needed to be fixed. Rod responded promptly and showed up when promised. He took the screens off site to repair and returned them in designated timeframe and at the agreed upon price. He also fixed another patio screen door which had been sticking. He is very pleasant to work with and unlike other contractors values YOUR time as much as he does his own. Would absolutely recommend him to others!

Rob did a Great job fixing my washing machine. He was very flexable with time. I remember calling him a couple times after the regular 8 to 5 schedule and he would always try to call back and follow up. He's very knowledgeable and figured out the problem quick. He ordered the part needed and installed it in to the machine within a couple days. I am very satisfied with his neat and professional work. I hope my appliances don't break again since it does get spendy but I would not doubt calling Rob again to take care of problem.

Very professional and seemed to know just about everything regarding home improvement projects. Rob did an outstanding job with many different projects we needed done in the home, would highly recommend him to anyone who needed help with a home project!

Besides doing my deck he put some slate around the bottom portion of my home to make it look nice, it looked so nice my neighbor hired him as well.
