THE CONTRACTOR "PEOPLES CHOICE" SHOWED UP GAVE AN ESTIMATE AND I PAID THEM OVER $100 FOR THE INSPECTION. BUT, THEY NEVER SHOWED UP TO COMPLETE THE WORK. I HAVE CALLED MANY TIMES, OVER THE WEEKS. I HAVE FINALLY FOUND A GOOD CONTRACTOR TO COMPLETE THE WORK.

My boyfriend called them when our heat went out and they were very responsive and prompt, but it all went downhill from the moment the technician arrived. It was a snowy night and there was snow and salt all over the sidewalk. The technician proceeded to walk into my condo with his shoes on and not evening wiping them. My boyfriend kindly asked him to remove his shoes and he did while rolling his eyes. Reeking of cigarettes he found what he thought the problem was with my heating unit and told us that it needed a part that would cost us $225. While he went to his truck, My boyfriend googled the serial number of the part that he had showed me (an ignitor) to find the part only costs $28 on a number of websites. We definitely expect that a part be marked up, but not by 700%! He said, "OK if you don't want it I'll close up the heating unit" and he did and left after we paid him for the service call (for nothing and a mis0diagosis). I called 2 other companies and one quoted me $44 for the part and the other $50. I had another company come out this morning and they found that the ignitor was in fact not the issue, but rather there was an issue with the gas valve. So People's Choice tried to scam me of a $225 part that I didn't need. My boyfriend called them this morning and spoke with Dave (the manager), and he couldn't have been any ruder to me on the phone..So much for their 100% satisfaction guarantee. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY unless you want to be scammed.

Furnace went out New Year's Day and People's Choice was able to come out and fix the issue quickly. Prior to arrival, Larry the service tech did some troubleshooting to try and save me the trip and when that failed to fix the problem, he came and took care of the problem quickly.

The central air was my first concern, however since the heating unit also works along with the maintenance of the a. c. A quick fix job was not done just on the a.c. A complete inspection was done on the furnace and the a. c. unit, everything was handled. It's still chilly, now I feel the heat, before I could hear it two stories up. Wayne took my initial call. Bob inspected and found the real need. Brad, Patrick, Jose,Chris and Scott made a couple of days many years of appreciation to come. Thanks Peoples.

They charged me twice without notifying me.

My daushter lives in our apartmernt. We are in Michigan. This team came out that evening and worked all night. They had to install a new furnace and fit it to her space's needs. They came back later to repair the trim around the furnace space (molding). I had much insecujrity about the entire project - what was needed, the cost, and so on. The leader took substantial time to educate and reassure me. Ii am impressed.

The tech guy they sent (Patrick) was first of all late 2.5 hours one time, would not answer the calls after he finished the work and the furnace did not work. We were advised after his repairs that we would have to take down falls and have the pipes re-run, I am glad I called for second opinion I was up and running the same day. The new person I hired told me that the motor he installed was not properly installed and he had to replace another part that was not working, if I did not get second opinion I would have thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs.

Pleasent experience with the sales person ( Wayne ) & the techs where spot on.

I WISH THAT I HAD MORE THAT 2 THUMBS TO PUT IN THE AIR. After initially having a bit of confusion with scheduling and followup, owner, Wayne bent over backwards to make everything right. My senior citizen mom lives alone and had an ongoing problem (4yrs) with her central A/C system. She kicked out more than a couple contractors that she felt where taking advantage of her, but not People's Choice. Living 800 miles away in NJ, it makes it difficult to do business long distance, but Wayne was an absolute jewel. Mom is happy and cool now and she even told me that she'd rate them an 11 out of 10!!

It was one of the hottest days of the year and that didn't seem to bother the company one bit. From the first contact and throughout the service call by Patrick the experience was great. When others either created excuses for the inability to service the call, or charged customers a "hot" fee, Peoples Choice got to my house in a timely fashion and got the job done, after explaining the scope to me. I will enthusiastically recommend them to my friends and family.

they came out ahead of schedule found the problem in no time checked everything didn't try to overcharge luckily it was a minor problem bit I had other companies charge me for thing I didn't even need like freeon good for homeowners who have rental homes like me

I'm sure they do good work, but I can't say I had that experience. I essentially paid $90 to have the same problem I had before they came. Not my idea of a good time.

Patrick has been very helpful and great at following up to make sure things are okay.

Mike was wonderful as were all of the staff at Peoples Choice A/C company. Did great work at a very competitive price. I will continue to use their service on a annual basis. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!!

Pat, who did the work for me was excellent, he was fast, got the job done, when the client found more problems, he made himself available, corrected whatever it was he had to correct and got the job done, I was very very happy with his work, attitude , performance, it was a great experience for me�

They charged me $45.00 just to come out and see what was wrong . When they found out it was the igniter and they had one in the vehicle they charged me an additional $75.00 for the product for a totsl of $120.00 to me that was excessive.and they made it seem as thought it was a bargain and got additional work out of me. For $180.00 more of which I paid them a portion that day and they would get the remainder when the job was complete. After the left I searched prices on everything they had done and was going to do and felt as though I was scamed and that angers me. So I won't use again after this.

People's choice heating and cooling promptly came out to give us a very competitive estimate they were very professional I have yet to move forward with the project but if I do I'll report more on my findings so far they have been wonderful.
