Perfection Plumbing & Drain Service, Inc.

The only reason we used this company is because they were hired by our property manager and we are renting. Hector is rude and disrespectful on the phone when scheduling. He stated he would call us to confirm what time his technician would be arriving and he did not. We came home from work to find the technician waiting at our front door and parked in our driveway. The technician was fine, but left our bathroom and driveway a mess. He replaced some pipes in the wall of our tub area and left black grease footprints and smears all over our bathroom. Our driveway is covered in the plastic pieces from the broken pipes. I would NEVER recommend hiring them and I will be contacting my property manager to request a different company moving forward.

Do yourself a favor and AVOID perfection plumbing at all costs. Please read the other 1-star reviews on here. They are all true! Hector is extremely unprofessional, rude, hostile, and unsympathetic. His last words to me where "Lose my number" when I was on the phone with him. They will not do the job right and will run away when they commit a mistake, leaving the homeowner to deal with the damage. I was placed with Perfection plumbing thru my home warranty, American Home Shield. I would have never hired them myself. It was a simple water heater and pressure regulator replacement. The out-of-pocket cost was more than I expected but since the wife and kids had only cold water to shower with, I decided to move forward. In retrospect, this was one of the greatest mistakes I have made as an adult. The plumber shows up and isolates the water to the house at the main water line. Proceeds to unhook the water hose to the water heater and starts draining the water heater. He then goes to work on the pressure regulator while the water heater drains. So far so good, typical plumber procedure. Then, inexplicably, he goes to turn the main water line on. The disconnected water heater hose starts gushing water everywhere!!! I am in my home office as I work from home some days. I am in a meeting, and I hear a lot of noise coming from the laundry room. By the time I excuse myself to check it out, there is water (several inches high) flowing out the laundry room and running down my hallway. I have laminate flooring and most people know that water and laminate flooring do not mix well. I start yelling for the plumber, who is outside at the main water line clueless to the flooding that is happening in the house. I run outside and tell him what is happening, and he finally closes the main water line again. I do not know what he does next, but I run back into the house and grab every bath towel I have available to clean the water mess. The longer the water sits there, the more water damage there will be. I spend an hour continuously trying to dry everything by gathering 20 soaked towels, wringing them out, and soaking them again. In the meanwhile, the plumber is on the phone (presumably with Hector), trying to find out their next move. In typical Perfection Plumbing fashion, the plumber reconnects my existing faulty water heater and pressure regular and leaves. Nothing was replaced and all I got was a flooded house. I speak to Hector and told him that at the minimum, the towels need to be replaced and the service completed. I was not even addressing the potential water damage to the home or the rest of the day off of work that I took because of the situation. Hector became aggressive on the phone and refused to take care of anything. That is when the conversation concluded with him saying "Lose my number" and hung up. Well, I hope everyone loses his number, especially those thinking about dialing it for the first time. You will be disappointed. I am going to get a 3rd party to assess the damages and consider filing a claim. I am not sure how anyone can be a licensed plumber providing this kind of service. Bad customer service is one thing, flooding a home and leaving it worse than you found it is absurd.

Hector has the absolute worst customer service I have ever seen. We place an emergency service call and was told to wait till the next morning and he would be here at 8 am. So I spent over 12 hours with all toilets backed up and a bath tub full of brown water. He was over an hour late. So the home owner called them and had an issue with them as well. The owner advised me not to use them if they showed up. When he showed up I told him what the owners said and he got upset and got an attitude with me and gave the impression he was going to just barge in so I closed and locked the door.

Quick response time to my request and speedie service repair

Hector was the first to call after placing a request on service magic. His plumber came out the next day and estimated what was needed to be done. Gave me the price and said he could come back the next day and complete the job (wasn't a leak or anything like an emergency). Called me the next day to see when I would be home to do the repair. They could have easily sold me a new water heater but flushed it out and told me some preventive tips to keep it working well. Left no mess and was very professional. I will be using them in the future for a new kitchen sink and disposal replacement. Don't hesitate using them!

Arrived as planned, communicated well. Replaced house pressure regulator that was determined to be faulty. They did not solve the initial reason for the call, but tried several things. We finally solved the problem ourselves. They worked clean and efficient. Would hire them again.

Hector was very knowledgeable about the plumbing job we needed, and provided a reasonable estimate, although he had to add on a bit for installing the new drain for the shower which he didnt anticipate.

Did a good job in replacing my water heater with the one I selected. Responds quickly. Able to do the job in a couple of days. Very accommodating.

Hector stuck to his estimate and did a great job. 2 others came out and began adding extras to the tune of 3-400 extra dollars. We said no thanks. Hector is the man. It seems that some contractors see a woman and start to jack her around. Big mistake with my wife. Huge.

First thing in the morning the day after I submitted my request for a referrel I received a phone call. I was told they could be out within a couple of hours which was a huge relief the day after Thanksgiving. The service technician was very friendly and professional. He was on time and completed the repair very quickly.

Hector was really helpful with heater selection, it was picked up from the store and installed the same day (that was a weekend, btw). He followed up with me checking if I was satisfied with the work done and was trying to do everything possible to make me happy. Price was very reasonable too and no extra charge for emergency work on weekend. Thanks Hector
