Powells Electric is a third generation electrical contracting firm that has provided service locally for over seventy years. We work in the industrial, commercial and residential fields. We are equipped to handle projects in the following areas: remodeling and new construction, computer cable installations, interior and exterior lighting, residential remodeling, emergency lighting and complete service upgrades. Our motto is No job too small or too big. We gladly provide free estimates. With our fully equipped fleet of vehicles we can arrive at any job totally prepared. Aside from our service vans we have a bucket truck available to replace lights in high areas, such as parking lot poles and warehouses. We also have a line truck that performs various useful duties.

I got a phone call the day I put in the request at Service Magic. Mr. Powell came out the next day to give an estimate. The work was completed 2 days later. I am very happy with the work that was done.

I was very pleased with the rapid response to my needs. I needed work done in a short time frame and Powell's was able to supply the resources to get the job done. However, in the installation of my under cabinet lighting, every single cabinet bottom was penetrated by the mounting screws. The men doing the work should have inspected their work to ensure it wasn't happening. Other than that, the men seemed knowledgeable and skilled. They also presented themselves in a polite and professional manner.

Started with the need to replace the meter panel. The connection from the new panel to the inside breaker box was also replaced after inspection and the discovery of water intrusion. Price was as quoted for the meter box and the add on work was reasonable. Showed up right on time.

Powell came to my house and reviewed my electric needs because I was selling my house and the buyer wanted to increase the service from 100 amps to 150 amps. Powell determined that I had a big enough service to handle the house needs. They gave me a bid to increase to service to 200 amps and I presented it to the buyer. The buyer decided during negotiation that they were going to leave the service as is for now.

I had two ceiling fans installed by Powell�s Electric service. The electricians arrived on time and did an outstanding job. They took great pride in their work and made sure everything was done perfectly. I would certainly use them again and highly recommend them.

thought they came out for estimate. had to pay $90 for service call so i had them check elec boxes outside. quickly checked circuit box and outside. changes otlet outside. don't know if they work or not. had other problems that needed fixing but they were very rushed and didn't give me a chance to really go over the problems. circuit breakers still pop in upstairs bath. i am not satisfied. i have not paid the bill yet. they were here only a couple of days ago.

Michelle was very pleasant to speak to on the phone, she sent someone out right away to give me a free estimate. When my appointment for the job fell on a day we were scheduled to have thunder storms, I was notified immediately and rescheduled. Her guys came out early explained to me what they were going to do and got the job done. When they were done, they showed me what they did cleaned up and were gone. Very professional.

The workman was Jason. His work was impeccable. I have never seen a box wired as neatly as his. He arrived on time, did the work on schedule. I'm very pleased with the results.
