I wanted to provide feedback on a $20,000 deck project that R & A Carpentry recently completed for us in February '09. We actually had 4 quotes and R&A Carpentry not only was a better price but the deciding factor was they were creative in designing a unique deck that we didnt even think about. They also were very professional in giving us tips in selection of composite materials at the supplier by being there with us. As an engineer, the Quality and Workmanship of these Guys is extremely evident in the cuts and fitting of each board. I highly recommend R&A Carpentry and they will be doing our basement remolding project in the future. A+

We had a staircase added to an existing deck. R&A Carpentry is a small business and the owners work on the job themselves. The two young carpenters were very friendly, efficient and also helpful with design choices. We would hire them again.

Alex and Robert did a wonderful job. The result was much better than expected, they were very kind, and hard working, They met all my needs and pleased all my small extras. They stand by their word and fixed some details inside my house even when everything was paid and done. At the end I'm very very happy with the final product, My deck is beautiful, the playhouse and playground for the kids ended up beautiful, and most importantly, the price-value equation was excellent. They checked lumber prices with different suppliers, so I feel I got best value there, and when finished,I got a refund from the supplier. Thank you guys! See you soon.

I was very pleased with how quickly the project was started and completed, and the final project is beautiful. The only drawbacks were that the guys, Alex and Robert did not want to draw up a contract which made me feel a little uneasy - that and they did not haul away all of the debris generated from the demolition of my old deck - I now have to get rid of that myself.

They did very good work.
