"My contract stated that I was charging $45 an hour- I estimated it would take 1-day which is clearly stated on the contract. Client wanted it done "as quickly as possible".I brought a helper in (without additional charges)to expedite the job. We completed in 5 1/2 hours which was 2 1/2 less than originally estimated. I charged 5.5 x 45 which equals 247.50 plus material $90 for a total of $337.50. I came back and gave the $20 as promised but you were not home and I was not comfortable leaving cash."
"My payment terms are very clear. When I complete the job I get paid. Customer wrote a bad check and I had to return to her home to get cash."
