I have never had to get a plumber before, as this is my first house. Overall the service was friendly. My only complaint is the $400 for one hour of work that was done mostly by machine. It's probably typical, but WOW!

I put a request in to SM Sun night after our leaking & broken 25 y.o. water heater finally gave out. We were called before 7:00am and was told Charlie would be out around 9:00am. Charlie showed up as promised & explained what he would do and gave me a total price to replace it (not an hourly rate). He told me he would wait until my other quotes came in. I called him at 1:30pm after finding out he had the best price and he was going to replace the vent stack (which had corroded) that the other companies didn't want to do. He was at my house by 4:00pm with the new water heater, removed the and finished the job a little after 7:00pm. THE BEST!
