They did exceptional work, and we couldn't be happier with the results - we had crown molding, chair rail, and paint in our dining room and a new backsplash in the kitchen. However we were surprised by an extra $55/hr fee for whenever there was a third person on the job site. We were not made aware of this fee until the final billing. And we went significantly over the budget/timeframe we discussed at our initial consultation. I'd recommend getting a contract in place before starting work. Otherwise, they were accommodating with schedules and did impeccable work.

Exterior Trim - Repair
Last year Roy did an excellent job so when I needed my roof vent replaced I called him. He said the vent would cost under $30. Never told me the labor cost. However based on my previous experience I didn't think it would be that much. He spent hours the last time he sealed my roof and was extremely reasonable so I assumed it shouldn't cost that much. I've learned ask don't assume. He came back with a part that cost twice what he told me (appearantly they had run out). So what he couldn't call and let me know! He charged me $95 for the hour he spent. Total was $145 and some change! I called some professional roofers whose quotes were much less. We hire handymen because we can't afford professionals! I'm elderly and I don't like being taken advantage of. I'll seriously thinking of changing to someone else. I can't afford this guy!!!

"Ms. Mary was charged exact price for her part w/ no mark up and 1 hour of labor. That included getting the part. (consumer name withheld per their request) took a loss on her repair when it is all said and done."
