Rudroff Heating & Air Conditioning Inc.

In 1959 from a one-car garage, Leonard Rudroff started a heating and air conditioning company that grew year by year into a thriving business employing four full-time employees and frequent seasonal help. Beginning with a one-car garage has its advantages -- inventory is always just an arms reach away. But Rudroff Heating and Air Conditioning quickly out grew the one-car garage and by 1962 needed larger quarters to hold and display the Bryant and Moncrief heating systems popular at the time. In March 1962 open house was held at their new building; a building large enough to sustain growth demanded by the growth of the local community. In 1962 furnaces were common and Air conditioning was a rare luxury. Seven years later, in 1969, Chrysler Airtemp became their most popular brand. Leonard received numerous top achiever awards from Chrysler Airtemp for the quality service and number of units marketed. Company growth continued, spurred on by Leonards hands-on service and Georgia Rudroffs careful front office management. In 1980 growth warranted the need to incorporate, creating Rudroff Heating and Air Conditioning, Incorporated. Over the years Leonard and Georgia received many awards. The City of Belton Chamber of Commerce recognized the business in 1987 for the many years of superior service and quality workmanship provided to the community. York Heating and Air Conditioning named Leonard and Georgia to the League of Superior Achievers for 1989--1997. In 1997 Grandpa (Leonard) and Grandma (Georgia) sold the incorporated business to their daughter Renee. The business is now in its second generation of family ownership and control. Under Renee's leadership the company continues to grow along with the communities of Belton and Raymore and in 1998 Rudroff's Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., moved to its current location at 234 Peculiar Drive in Belton. In 2004 we celebrated out 45th year in business! We won the "Best of Parade" award for Belton's Community Days and participated in several other local events. It is our company policy to always treat a customer's home as if we were an invited guest. Our technicians are screened and drug tested so you, the customer, feel safe having our people in your home. We recently adopted a new slogan: "Large enough to serve, Small enough to care" This is the attitude that our employees display each and every day. We are a team and we take pride in our heritage.
