James came by to save us this morning. Woke up and out ac was not cooling or blowing. After reaching out to two other companies, daughtry heating and air were the only ones who got back to me and could fit me in same day. I got even luckier when james figured my issue out in less than 45 minutes. He was also very patient with my kids who were very curious about what was going on. I scheduled a cleaning with them and their receptionist informed me they had a special going on for cleanings. I felt so lucky! I will always call them with my ac issues!

This guy charged $125 per pound of Freon. I called Ferguson in Winston Salem and they sell 410A Freon for $14 A POUND AFTER TAX. So he marked up the Freon 900%!!! And of course charged $90 for a â labor feeâ yet his real profit is in markups. He paid $42 for the Freon and charged $375â ¦. AND looked me dead in the eye and said â can you believe Freon cost $125/lb nowâ and when he was shown the range of $50-80 per lb of Freon HE SAID THAT WAS OUTDATED WHAT A SCUMBAG. So this dude just made $350 for less than an hour of work and heâ s 100% happy with that. Ainâ t no hvac tech worth $350 an hourâ ¦ I asked a friend that works in hvac what the normal rate is and he said the company he works for charges $45 per pound of Freon to service someoneâ s hvac. So instead of a $500 bill I would have payed more like $250-300 labor included. Please look out for yourself and get multiple quotes because this guy will rip you good otherwise. AND they wonâ t try to make it right, theyll just lie and say everyone charges that AND THEY DONT I CALLED AND CHECKED. These people are disgusting for constantly lying to cover their own butt. If you want to spend 10x what something actually cost give them a call! They will be happy to stick you good!

They did an excellent job and I would hire them again in a minute. They are very, very knowledgeable. They did good work!
